Typical weird Pedro Almodovar scene. @8:00am CIII Record number: 4076 Title: Popular Mechanics for Kids Medium: TV Series Actress: Elisha Cuthbert Description: Episode: "Whodunnit?" Series on the Discovery Kids Channel. In the last 5 minutes of the episode, Elisha and the male host Tyler are in a police station. He's a cop and she's a suspect handcuffed to a chair, one wrist cuffed to the chair arm. He tells her the case is solved and she says "Great! Now can you get these handcuffs off me?". He searches his pockets for a minute then says "Oops! I left the key in my jacket which is at home. I'll be back in a couple of hours." He leaves and the camera pans to Elisha who thanks the audience for watching and makes some remark about Tyler not being back next week. Then the camera closes into a shot of Elisha's cuffed hand as she struggles and tries to pull it out of the cuffs. Earlier in the episode, Elisha is given a lie detector test. She's sitting strapped in a chair with black straps above and below her breasts. Her arms aren't secured but remain on the arm rests. One hand is wired to the lie detector. In some of the cutaways of Elisha, where you can't see her full body, it actually looks like she's tied to the chair. |

Record number: 5421 Title: Xena: Warrior Princess Medium: TV Series Actress: Katie Stuart Description: Episode: "Many Happy Returns" (May 2001) Ms. Stuart (Yes ... the same Katie Stuart of FROG AND WOMBAT fame) is wrapped comfortably in gauzy material ... including over her mouth and nose ... as preparation for a virgin sacrifice ... and not as a spectator. This occurs a couple of minutes in, and she is rather dramatically saved by the X Grrl. Around the 40' mark, she is handgagged by one of the zealots, who along with his compatriots takes her for a reprise of the first scene ... this time complete with chains securing her to an altar slab. All ends well, as the Dynamic Distaff Duo again save her chaste bacon. |

Shortly before this, he had begun to tie her, but relented. And earlier in the ep Ms. Oakes is shown cuffed in front. I saw this at the 15' mark, going on for a bit after. I don't know when the sequence first begins. No gags either time. |
