| I have waited SO long to get this one on tape. I should warn that FX sometimes airs the X-Files at 4 p.m. instead of 5 p.m., because they sometimes show a couple of Buffy episodes back to back. The midnight repeat airing, though, is consistently rock-solid. |

After the commercial break (when first aired) she's shown bound spreadeagled on a bed. She's gagged with a washcloth crammed in her mouth and a blue bandanna tied over it when Doggett comes looking for her. Lots of mmmphing. The sequence begins around the 40' mark, and concludes a few minutes before the end of the episode. |

About halfway through she is shown sitting by a campfire in a manner implying her hands are bound, but no bonds are visible. Later she is shown sleeping with her hands bound by a cord that would have been too long to prevent her from untying it herself in reality, as she is frightened awake by a spider. When her new husband finally catches up with her captors, he finds her bound to the headboard of a bed and gagged with a white cloth between her teeth. She tries to warn him but her struggles and muffled cries are for naught. Nice scenes of struggling, mmmphing and closeups. |

A Japanese entomologist misses the last bus back to town and finds shelter with a woman in the bottom of a sand pit. This next morning he realizes he is trapped and can never leave. At first he refuses to work (the woman is part of a slave labor gang) and ties her up and gags her with a towel, but after nearly dying of thirst, he agrees to start shoveling sand. Along the way the man discovers he is falling in love with the woman and enjoys being ensnared. |

There is at least one closeup on the bindings on her hands. No gag, though. |

| Before he was James Bond, Roger Moore played the card shark cowboy Maverick on an old school TV series from the late 1950s (James Garner also played the role for a stint). In this one, Moore's character is captured by Indians and expected to marry the chief's daughter in the morning after a night of nuptuals. A couple of cowboys sneak into the tent and "rescue" Maverick. When Maverick senses someone cutting a hole in the tent, (roll tape here) he distracts the squaw to keep her unaware. The Cowboys handgag her, then bind and gag her and the three men sneak off. Occurs in the first half hour. Black and white, but a ~nice~ scene. Sorry for the late notice. |
