The first scene occurs during science class when Buffy and company try an experiment to expose their classmate as a witch. Buffy "accidentally" spills acid on her wrist, which has on effect on the girl. Immediately after the planned accident, another student suddenly begins shrieking as she realizes her mouth is gone, no doubt a trick of the witch. Definitely a faux gag, with appropriate mmmphing to match. The second scene occurs a few minutes later. Buffy goes to cheerleading practice under the influence of some kind of prescription medication, and ends up stumbling all over the place. An infuriated cheer captain tells Buffy she's off the team, and that the witch will be her replacement. Willow and Xander watch the scene unfold and rush to get her out of sight. Buffy says "Oh, no, no, no, you don't want her on the team, she's a wi ... MMMPH!" Xander has clamped a hand over her mouth and proceeds to drag her away. He finishes her sentence by saying she's "a wise choice indeed." |

When we first see her, she's cleave gagged with a tan cloth and her hands are tied behind her back. In the next scene she's sitting on the floor and her feet are now tied as well. Soon after, "Challenger" ungags her but she remains tied for a few minutes longer. Excellent scene and most of it is well-lit. This was Jennifer O'Dell's third gag scene in the second season. |

During the assault Bergman knocks her down and ties her hands; soon afterward there are a couple of shots of Conan (Arnold Schwarzenegger) carrying her out of the caves on his back with her hands tied. As the film moves toward its climax, there are several long shots-some deliberately out of focus-of her chained with her arms outstretched to a vertical stone slab. Once the final battle gets under way, we are treated to several close-ups of her chained to the slab as it progresses. |

Today's episode of the Nightmare Room had a short scene with Lindsay Felton, a blonde teen girl, a black teen girl, and two putzes tied together back-to-back in a circle. They are held with ropes around their upper bodies. It looks like their hands are bound behind them but you can't see those bonds. No gags. The show airs as part of WB Kids morning so you'll have to check your local listings for the time. In my area, it aired at 11 am. |

Record number: 1095 Title: Kull the Conqueror (1997) Medium: Movie Actress: Karina Lombard Description: About 40 minutes into the film, her character is led out to a stake and is shown having her hands tied behind it, in preparation for execution by burning after she's been framed for murdering the title character. The problem for the bad guys is that he's not dead, as evidenced by his showing up to rescue her by cutting the ropes around her wrists and ankles with his sword. Some 20 minutes later the climactic battle takes place aboard a slave-rowed ship, after Lombard has been pulled up off the deck by her wrists-which have been bound with a rope attached to an overhead pulley-and dunked over the side. |
