They're conducting germ warfare experiments at an old lodge in a remote Minnesota pine forest. A newspaper reporter (Elliott Reid) and his new-found girlfriend (Balenda) -- whose doctor brother (Raymond Burr) is one of the conspirators -- investigate, but are captured. At about an hour and 20 minutes Balenda is shown lying strapped hand and foot to an inclined gurney, detective gagged with a wide white cloth bandage, as she's prepared for a fatal injection. Not to worry: her brother has something up his doctor bag -- a pistol which he uses to plug a hovering co-conspirator before being gunned down himself as Reid and the feds come to the rescue. |

Later, Gilligan sees a headhunter on the island, but no one believes him. However, the other castaways decide to disguise the Skipper as a headhunter and allow him to "capture" them so that Gilligan can become a hero. Unfortunately, Gilligan overhears the plan... Meanwhile, the real headhunter captures Mary Ann, Ginger and the Professor. The Howells find the threesome tied hand and foot to stakes. Frond (!) gags cover their mouths, and despite mmpphing for all they're worth, they are unable to warn the millionaire and his wife that the headhunter is behind them. It's a brief scene, but it features a long shot of the three of them -- Mary Ann is wearing her trademark short shorts, and Ginger is wearing a form-fitting dress fashioned from some item from the Minnow ("S.S. MINNOW" is prominently displayed on the skirt) in the background. In a later scene, two more stakes have been added, and Gilligan discovers the five captives tied up. The Howells have not been gagged, but they are unable to convice Gilligan that this situation is anything other than a trick. The real headhunter returns, and Gilligan "plays along" in a mock fight scene. During the shenanigans, there is a close-up of Mary Ann, and several shots in which she is prominently featured, writhing at the stake. (Ginger remains only in long shots.) Finally, the Skipper (disguised as a headhunter) shows up, and Gilligan realizes the truth in time to send his foe into a handy campfire. After everyone has been untied, Mary Ann can be seen holding a loop of the rope. This is from the first season of black-and-white episodes, subsequently colorized, and begins around the fifteen-minute mark. |

There are several nice close-ups. As she is about to be wisked away by the demon, we can see that Ms Pai's shoes have been removed during her captivity. There is a close up of her bound stocking feet when the demon cuts the rope that ties them to the bottom of the bed. Around the 50' mark, Ms. Cattrall is shown in a strict hogtie. She is also very tightly cleavegagged with black cloth. Her hands are bound behind her back, and her ankles are tied together, with a rope extending to her neck putting her in a hogtie. After she is rescued by Kurt Russell, she flees the warehouse with her gag still in place. |

| I just happened to flip across this week's episode entitled "Desperate Measures" at about the half hour mark and Amanda Tapping was laying on a hospital gurney with her hands cuffed in front to the railing. She was released about minute later. I have no idea how long she'd been cuffed or whether a gag was involved early on. |
