She fakes her own kidnapping, but is found out by her husband. Angry, she stalks out of the bridge game the Ricardos and Mertzes were playing. Sitting in the hallway, the real burglars stumble upon her, hand gag her, and after a struggle, drag her into the basement. After the commercial break, the card players hear a pounding at the door. It's Lucy, sporting a white cloth cleave gag with her ankles bound and her arms tied to her side. She banging on the door with her head. When Ricky stands up to remove the gag, Fred says, "Careful Ricky, do you know what you're doing?" Ricky removes the cloth, and Lucy 'splains how she was tied up by the real burglars. Nobody believes her and she spends the remaining 15 seconds of the episode still bound, hopping from one of the card players to another trying to convince them of her sincerity. |

Record number: 9322 Title: Without a Trace Medium: TV Series Actress: Claire Rankin, unknown Description: Episode: "Copycat" (2.5) The plot has to do about kidnapper who foiled the detective a long time ago, resulting in the death of the kidnap victim. A person is 'copycatting him by taking a typical soccer mom (Rankin). At around 20 minutes, the hero is exploring a warehouse, sees a chair and has a vision of the long-ago victim, her wrists taped to the chair arms, and looking dead. The phone rings, the bad guy calls to taunt our hero, and we see an extreme closeup of the missing woman tape gagged. No other bondage is visible, we don't even see her whole face. At the very end, she is rescued from a car trunk and we get a quick glimpse of a tape gag, again no other bondage visible, thanks to darkness and bad camera angles. |

| Title: See No Evil, Hear No Evil (1989) Medium: Movie Actress: Kirsten Childs, Joan Severance Description: Playing the kidnapped sister of Richard Pryor's character, Childs is shown tied to a chair in a glass house and cleave-gaggged rather loosely with white cloth near the end of the movie. When her blind brother's deaf sidekick (Gene Wilder) comes to the rescue, there's a humorous sequence in which she furiously mmphs to warn him first of some approaching Dobermans, then of the alarm that will go off if he breaks the glass. In the last 5 minutes, Severance is taken away by the police to a squad car in handcuffs. |
