Record number: 1624 Title: Dragonheart (1996) Medium: Movie Actress: Dina Meyer Description: About 45 minutes into the picture, Kara (Meyer) botches the assassination of evil King Einon and is hauled off kicking and screaming into the dungeon. The next scene shows her wrists manacled with five foot long chains stretching from her wrists to wall rings about two feet off the ground. When the evil king comes to taunt her, she charges him, but the chains snap her back before she can come to grips. The king taunts her for about 30 seconds, then leaves. Several minutes later, the king's mother releases Kara and spirits her from the castle. Returning to her village, Kara tries to whip up a rebellion, but the locals prefer to pelt her with rotten vegetables. When a dragon attacks, the villagers decide to sacrifice a virgin (Kara) rather than pay a dragonslayer to kill the maurauding worm. Kara is bound to a stake attached to a tumbrel. Her elbows (!) and wrists are roped tightly behind the stake. The tumbrel is wheeled into a field and the dragon attacks. Despite her struggles the dragon carries her away. (Not to worry, the dragon is a good guy who is partial to red-haired cuties!) Nice sceens, even if their are no gags. According to IMDb, Ms. Meyer does most of her own stunts, so the struggling maiden is probably the starlet, rather than a body double. |

Record number: 13351 Title: Rock Monster (2008) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Natalie Denise Sperl Description: SciFi movie channel original production delivers a solid set of bondage scenes featuring a lovely dark-haired damsel-in-distress. A young American college student travels to a remote European village to claim an inheritance and accidentally releases the titular monster by pulling a magic sword from the dormant critter's back. At about the 93 minute mark (with commercials) Cassandra (Sperl) is handgagged by a male villager and, after agreeing not to, screams her bloody head off when the fellow removes his hand. She's then punched out for her trouble. We next see Cassandra in a remote moonlit forest, detective gagged with a white cloth, ankles bound with her hands tied in front. Over the next 25 minutes or so, she's untied and tied, ungagged and gagged according to the chief villain's whims. There's also a brief over-the-shoulder sequence for folks that enjoy such things. At about the 118 minute mark the pretty brunette is rescued by the hero. When the scene starts, Cassandra is wearing a nightie, but during her bondage scenes, she's wearing a thick, red woolen coat, which is occasionally parted seductively. |

Record number: 11614 Title: The Brothers Grimm (2005) Medium: Movie Actress: Lena Headey aka Lena Heady Description: Lena Headey, the female lead in the Gilliam film is captured several times. The first is with a chain around the ankle in a barrel. The second has her manacled, wrists behind and is seated on a chair. At first glance, it looks like she is manacled to the chair, but that isn't the case. There is a third scene (very short) where she is trying to escape, and runs out her wrists are manacled in front, but instead of a chain, a spreader bar (about 2 feet long) is used. The final one has her being led by a rope around her neck. Her wrists are manacled in front as in the above scene. Her torso is wrapped with what looks like half a mile of rope. She sports a nice white cleave gag. Lots of emotion coming from her as she tries to escape, but she doesn't have much luck. Wearing a old red dress like they apparantly wore back then. In the Deleted scenes on the DVD, there is a scene, called "The Fat Soldier", with Lena tied to a fence, or railing, in a barn & cleave gagged. It's actually a much better scene than the "main" one. Several nice close-ups. She convinces a...well, fat soldier to remove her gag & finally untie her. Afterward, she gets the drop on him |

Record number: 12496 Title: Imagining Argentina (2003) Medium: Movie Actress: Emma Thompson, Sara Fernandez, Leticia Dolera Description: Grim surrealistic tale, set in Argentina during the 1976-83 military dictatorship, of a children's theater director (Antonio Banderas) whose journalist wife (Thompson) runs afoul of the regime when she reports on two disappearances that may be linked to it-and as a result, becomes one of "the disappeared" herself. Her husband then develops a strange clairvoyance that allows him to see what has happened to the growing number of missing, which gains him something of a cult following among their loved ones. His vision of his wife's fate, however, is not as clear, which leads him on a rather disjointed quest to find her. About 35 minutes in he makes his way to an abandoned warehouse where from a catwalk above he views a metal table, upon which his nude wife (either Thompson or a body double) appears lying on her back while being beaten in a flashback shot of about a second. Her captors hide her midsection and the shot is so brief it is difficult to see if she is bound. Then, at about an hour, a fully clothed Thompson is shown bent face-down over the end of a metal bedframe, secured to it by chains attached to leather straps around her wrists, while she is being sodomized by a jailer, who also has all his clothes on (he is shown zipping up his pants after he finishes). Despite the assault being only implied, the scene is still rather difficult to watch. Several minutes later, a young man comes to see the director, telling him his sister is among the disappeared. The director envisions a young woman (Fernandez) shown from behind in a couple of brief shots sitting seminude in a chair with a black hood over her head and her hands being tied behind her. The bonds are clearer in the second shot after the tying is finished. The director, however, isn't fooled; when the hood is pulled off, he declares that the man has no sister and is a spy sent by the government-which he is. Bad move. After he further taunts the junta by putting on a play critical of the government its agents pay him a visit, and his daughter (Dolera) joins her mother in captivity. At roughly an hour and ten minutes she's shown on the same bedframe on which her mother was assaulted, lying on her back in a narrow spreadeagle with similar bonds. She's barefoot and clad in a short green dress. The spy her father exposed then stands over her menacingly with an electric probe that he will use to torture her, but he is not shown using it. A brief head-and-shoulders closeup of Dolera chained to the bed is shown again about twenty minutes later. |

Record number: 6772 Title: Law & Order: Criminal Intent aka Law & Order: CI Medium: TV Series Actress: Marianne Hagan, Stephi Lineburg, Bailey Slattery Description: Episode: "Homo Homini Lupis" (1.14) A loan shark kidnaps an embezzling executive's family as collateral for a huge debt. The ladies are blindfolded, shackled, gagged with duct tape. One character is raped by their menacing captor -- off screen, mercifully. The scene, despite this shortcomming, is a multi-damsel scene (a rare kind of scene that is always welcome in my book) with a reasonable length with some decent close-ups especially those of the mother and the elder daughter. In addition, the mother told the police that she and her daughters were "tied up" in a bathroom at a rest area on the NY Thruway when they were found by her father-in-law. Too bad they did not show the rescue! While I personally could have done without the rape scene, I have to admit that such scene certainly added to the episode's drama and suspense. Moreover, that scene gave a very credible sense of urgency and determination to police's efforts to catch the bad guy and also contributed greatly to the victims' ultimate decision to assist the police. Hence, the rape scene made a major contribution to the plot of the episode. First scen occurs around the 12' mark and last scene ends by the 25' mark. |
