| Title: Rio Bravo (1959) Medium: Movie Actress: Estelita Rodriguez Description: This western stars John Wayne as the sheriff in a small town. He's friends with a local Spanish couple that runs the hotel. At one part the bad guys try to get him while he's in the hotel and the girl, Consuela is tied up and gagged in the other room. She is bound to a chair and cleave-gagged with a yellow cloth. There is only one pretty good close-up and her husband gets B&G too, so try to ignore him. Unfortunately, his gagging happens on screen, and hers does not. Ms. Rodriguez is very cute, however. A good, but brief scene. It starts about 3/4 through the movie. (About 30 to 40 minutes from the end with adverts). The actress is also shown a few minutes later being ungagged and forced to scream as part of the plot to capture the good guys. Again, pretty brief. There are a couple of real quick scenes later showing her from the side or back - blink and you miss them. A real crime that heroine Angie Dickenson didn't get a scene here as she is at the peak of her considerable attractiveness. PS-This movie kicks ass, especially if you like westerns! |
