This starts about 16' into the movie and ends by the 24' mark. There is a quick gagged flashback around the 46' mark. Then near the end of the film, Lohan is shown with her arms bound behind her, by her elbows. Kinda dark, but not bad |

At about 20 minutes she is shown waking up and sitting in a chair that's up against a post. Her hands chained over her head to the post. She is hot and sweaty. She gets hotter and sweatier because every time the bad guys leave her alone, being a modern sort of damsel, she writhes vigorously seeking to escape her chains. There are several scenes throughout the ep of her struggling and writhing to escape her chains, managing to do so just before the bad guy executes her. |

At the beginning of the second hour, she is led handcuffed (again behind her back) by a matron through an obligatory gauntlet of hardened female prisoners to a conference with her lawyer. |

First we see the guys waiting for her in her office, then the same guys carrying a heavy wicker box, so that we only suppose that the damsel is inside (sigh). When they arrive at their den, they open the box then we see (at last!) poor Clara in a long dark-blue dress with her hands bound behind her back and Over the mouth gagged with a thick cloth. |

Record number: 8155 Title: Seven Women from Hell (1961) Medium: Movie Actress: Margia Dean Description: Despite its promising subject matter-the title characters are female prisoners of the Japanese in the Far East during World War II-and a cast that includes several actresses that did other scenes (Denise Darcel, Pilar Seurat, and Yvonne Craig), this film yields only a few shots of Dean, ungagged, standing tied by her wrists to a short crossbar fastened over her head to the prison camp's flagpole, as punishment for her involvement in an escape attempt. The first scene is about 45 minutes in; approximately ten minutes later, she's shown hanging limply from the bar, apparently dead, as the camp is abandoned and set on fire. |

Record number: 1890 Title: Dirty Mary Crazy Larry (1974) Medium: Movie Actress: Lynn Borden, Adrianne Herman Description: Three lowlifes (the two title characters, plus Larry's mechanic) kidnap the daughter of a grocery store owner as well as her daughter, then make off with the ransom. With the police in hot pursuit, they commit all sorts of vehicular carnage. Borden's kidnapping scene occurs early in the movie (it's finished sometime around the end of the first half hour). She's captured by her kidnapper while in the shower -- nice nude handgag scene. She's shown lying on a couch, wrists bound behind her back and she's gagged with white tape. Her daughter (Herman) is B&G'd the same way, but is quickly ungagged, as she has a cold and looks like she might suffocate. |

Record number: 12014 Title: Ties That Bind (2006) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Nicole de Boer aka Nikki De Boer aka Nicole DeBoer aka Nikki de Boer aka Nicole deBoer aka Nikki deBoer Description: This made-for-Lifetime movie is a cautionary tale about *not* renting your guest house to psycho/nurses. (Always a sound policy.) Nicole plays Megan, the lawyer/wife, & Brian Krause (Leo on "Charmed") plays the doctor/husband. Sonya Salomaa plays Courtney, the psycho/nurse. In the last 15 minutes, Megan (dressed casually in jeans, t-shirt, sweater, hoodie, & boots) goes to confront Courtney in the guest house. Courtney pulls a syringe and Megan fades to unconsciousness as the movie fades to commercial. When next we see Megan, it's a closeup of her face. Silver duct tape is tightly plastered to her lips. The camera pulls back, & we (& she) discover she is spreadeagled to Courtney's bed (fully clothed as before), in leather medical restraints. Much struggling and m'mmpfhing ensues, in one of the best gloating scenes I've seen in years. Courtney to Megan: "It's no use fighting. I use those to restrain PCP freakouts." No closeups of the restraints, but we can tell she's really helpless. Numerous closeups of her tape-gagged face, and we can see that the tape is well-adhered to her face. A small sliver of tape repeatedly balloons as she pants & tries to scream. VERY convincing Damsel-in-Distress. Meanwhile, Courtney-the-psycho nurse is delivering a chilling monologue. At one point, she climbs on the bed and rests her head on the same pillow as Megan, & the director gives us a dual closeup. Nicole does an *outstanding* job of selling Megan's plight. Courtney delivers a second injection, & again Megan fades into unconsciousness. Later, something strange but wonderful happens: When hubbie comes to rescue Megan, her bonds have been changed! It's still the same hospital restraints, but now her wrists are cuffed together and to her ankles, and an additional of pair are strapped now around her elbows! The elbow cuffs and ankle cuffs are strapped to the bed and the wrist/ankle junction is a double "Y" of straps joined with rings. (I believe this is called "four point restraint" by nurses (psycho and otherwise).) Hubbie rips off the tape and frees her wrists and elbows, then Megan does a crunch and frees her ankles. Then it's off to the climax! |
