A few minutes later, one of the female baddies is found tied to the end of a bed (sitting on the ground, tied to the outside of the headboard of the bed) and cleave-gagged in a very quick shot. A male accomplice is similarly tied to the other side of the bed but we don't see him very well. |

Record number: 13112 Title: Robin Hood (2006) Medium: TV Series Actress: Lucy Griffiths, Anjali Jay Description: Episode: "Get Carter" (2.8) Marion (Griffiths) has now joined the outlaw gang, when she tries to lead an attack on the Sheriff's men in this episode Robin takes exception to her actions and physically drags her away from the battle. He grabs a length of rope which hangs from the roof of one of the village huts and wraps it around her wrists tying them together in front of her and slightly above her head. After the battle he returns to untie her, she scolds him with the words "Don't you ever tie me up again" Shortly after the bandits are picked off one by one by a double agent. Griffiths gets a very brief handgag and is next seen sat on the grond, tied back to back with a male outlaw, heavy rope around both their midriffs, hands behind back. She is also cleave gagged. A few feet away Saracen outlaw Djac (Jay) is similarly secured back to back with a male team mate, however most of the close ups are centered on Griffiths. Action is all centered in the first 15-20minutes, however completests may like to know that a stout looking mature Nun is handgagged later in the episode |

Record number: 13255 Title: Black Friday (2007) aka The Kidnapping Medium: TV Movie Actress: Darcy Rose Byrnes, Senta Moses, Amy Carlson Description: Carlson's a bank executive who leaves her daughter (Byrnes) in the care of a babysitter (Moses) while she's off at a business meeting, then becomes concerned when she can't contact them by phone. She finds out why upon returning to her car at the airport about twelve minutes in, where she finds an envelope containing pictures of her daughter sitting bound but ungagged on a bed-one of which features a closeup of her tied-in-back wrists-accompanied by a note from the kidnappers. At about forty minutes, the action shifts to the hideout where the daughter and babysitter are being held as Moses, who's sitting on the bed with Byrnes, is busy sawing the ropes on her wrists on a nail protruding from a board behind her. Once she frees her hands, she rips away the ropes from around her ankles and quickly frees the similarly-tied Byrnes, then both head for the window to make their escape. Unfortunately, one of their captors shows up before both can climb out and (spoiler alert!) things don't end happily for the babysitter, although the murder isn't shown. At just over an hour and a half, Carlson, who's fallen into the clutches of the kidnappers while attempting to deliver on the abductors' demands, is shown being led from a car into their hideout with a bag over her head and her hands cuffed behind her back. A few minutes later she's shown sitting in a chair while one of the baddies apparently cuffs her wrists to its back before another pulls the bag off her head. After a brief interrogation the cuffs are removed, ending the movie's scenes. No one is gagged in any of the sequences. |

Record number: 12623 Title: Incubus (2005) Medium: Movie Actress: Alice O'Connell Description: An hour into this horror flick, three trapped college students decide that the best way out of their predicament is to tie one of them up and let him or her fall asleep, which they theorize will draw the evil demon into the new body and out of the body of the crazy guy blocking their escape. They choose Holly (O'Connell) since she's "the smallest and the weakest." They proceed to tie her hands behind her back and her ankles together with computer cables, then cleave-gag her with a strip of plastic wrap. Clever, and yet not. Holly is possessed by the demon as planned. She pretends to be choking, and when "Bug" removes her gag, she goes after him with her teeth. Then she gets her hands free, leaving Bug with no choice but to suffocate her with a plastic bag in order to save his and the Tara Reid character's hides. Scene runs for about three minutes, not including the setup in the dialog. |

| Title: Joy Ride (2001) aka Roadkill Medium: Movie Actress: Leelee Sobieski, Jessica Bowman Description: Venna Wilcox (Sobieski) is captured by the killer and used as bait. Venna is handgagged in a dark corn field at about 1:12 into the movie. She is held captive in a hotel room, tied onscreen to a chair, arms behind, with several turns of clear pallet (plastic) wrap and gagged with clear tape that is wrapped around her mouth several times. This happens at about 1:16 in. There is a shotgun at the door, rigged to go off if anyone opens it. The scene is switched back and forth to several times. Numerous close-ups and wondeful mmmppphing by Leelee make this scene a must-see, even for those who despise clear tapegags! Towards the end of the film (around 1:30), there's a brief scene where "Charlotte" (Jessica Bowman) is seen (in the cab of a truck) wearing a very tight dark-colored bandana cleave gag. Shot is from the head up with no ropes or restraints visible. Scene is approx 4 minutes long when you cut out the side scenes. Lots and lots (and lots) of clear tape used. Not a short scene. |

| I recently saw a commercial for this TV movie adaptation of a Stephen King story which showed Allyce Beasley in a straightjacket with closeups of the soles of her bare feet (no gag). The Chiller channel is showing part 1 at 9:00 PM Saturday night and again at 12:00 AM early Sunday morning. The Chiller channel is showing part 2 at 9:00 PM Sunday night and again at 12:00 AM early Monday morning. I do not know which part the scene is in. This scene is not in the database. |
