> and "Big Trouble in Little China." I know a lot of people don't think much of that last one, but as a straight-out fantasy adventure I thought it was loads of fun, and Kurt Russell's mostly blowhard hero is a hoot and a half imo. ~~~~ And one of its subtle twists is that the viewer doesn't realize until after it's over that Dennis Dun is the *actual* soft-spoken hero that does the martial arts fighting-leading-to damsel rescue -- The movie focuses on Kurt Russell's character, but he's actually the blowhard sidekick who forgets to disable the safety on handguns. Some of my picks: *The Collector (1965) - Three Oscar nominations. *Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down! (1990) - Antonia Banderas' debut to USA audiences. *Birthday Girl (2001) - Would you try to return your mail-order bride if they looked like Nicole Kidman, because they lied about their English-speaking ability and smoking habit? |

The movie could be foreign release the dialogue was in english. A blond woman is swimming in a backyard pool while her brother and parents are eating dinner. She gets out of the pool puts a towel around herself, she hears a noise. As she comes down the stairs a man handgags her and another man picks up her legs. They start to put a gag in her mouth and tie her up and she fights out of it. They threaten to kill her but the boss says "They her alive". She starts to attack them and one of the bad guys kills her with a blow dart to the head. Any ideas ? |

Think that's largely the case, not the worst scene in 2010 by any means. |

Sunday December 19 17:13:35 2010 Slave |
Has anyone seen the movie Slave starring Natassia Malthe? Saw it at blockbuster and it looks promising. The trailer has a quick shot of chains/handcuffs with what appears to be a gagged girl. |

Monte's Eyedea wrote: 1. Fuller Brush Girl - Lucille Ball gets lassoed and tied to bunk beds by a bunch of wild lil injuns while out selling door to door. She then gets to tie up another lady later in the film.(This is good old slapstick bondage, sure to set your woman's mind at ease.) 2. Barbarella - Jane Fonda wearing less clothing than in her later exercise videos gets tied up by wild kids and fed to their dolls who have steel teeth.(Campy 60's bondage. Outrageous situations and sexy costumes.) 3. Three Days of the Condor. Fay Dunaway bound and gagged by Robert Redford. (This one is a dark, serious bondage scene with frank sexual overtones. If seeing a young Robert Redford tie up and turn on a woman doesn't get you woman into bondage, nothing will!) 3. |

Scene occurs around the 35 min mark. Not much more than what was shown in the still image. It is that Italian chick and she's bound to the chair and unconscious. Gag is a cloth OTM. |

Sunday December 19 23:36:52 2010 Blade: Trinity? |
Has anyone sat through all of "Blade: Trinity"? I saw part of it on TNT or Spike but not the whole movie. I ask, 'cause apparently Erica Cerra (Jo Lupo on the SyFy Channel's "Eureka") has some sort of DiD scene. (See jpeg below). So... who's willing and able to make us a dBase entry? (I keep hoping for an extended Jo Lupo nude shibari scene on "Eureka", but apparently that's not gonna happen.) |

Sunday December 19 23:50:50 2010 Spider Woman Question |
Question for the Brian's Pagers. I know we're all familiar with the iconic images of Spider Woman in bondage from her '70's comic book, but there is an image I remember that I wonder if anyone else does. When I was a kid back in the '70's, I was at a bookstore and I ran across a magazine sized book of cut-out postcards featuring Marvel super heroes. One of the postcards was an image similar to the one we know well, with some differences. From memory: In the image, Spider woman tied to a chair and gagged, over to the right side of the picture. She seems to be in a seedy hotel room. On the left side, coming through a window, is a gorilla in a trenchcoat, HE may have a fedora on and might be carrying a briefcase, those details are hazy. This image was definitely based on the the cover of Spider Woman #6. Anyone know what I'm talking about? |
