Not for me. It airs in Canada the same day than in US. Guess it depends which channel carries the soap. |

Friday January 28 03:02:34 2011 Upcoming CSI:NY Possibility |
I read an article about some rapper and it said that in the February 11 episode of CSI:NY he plays someone who takes a woman hostage. No indication of whether there will be bondage, though. |

If this > plays like the Bionic Woman remake -- gee, those chicks > are hot, but I don't care about the story, the > relationships, etc. -- it might not last 13 episodes. The success and longevity of the original Charlie's Angels was attributable primarily to its novelty. It was a milestone in the history of television, the first ever show of its kind, a crime drama whose main characters were a trio of beautiful female detectives. In addition to the the three beautiful female leads, additional eye candy was provided weekly by beautiful guest actresses. Charlie's Angels was part of a genre of television shows that proliferated during the 1970s called "Jiggle TV". This genre included comedies and dramas in addition to crime dramas, and one of its pioneers was Aaron Spelling. "Jiggle TV" relied on beautiful actresses in sexy apparel to distract audiences from the vapid and intellectually vacuous content of its shows. This formula worked throughout the 1970s and much of the 1980s, and then began losing its appeal. You're right, Miss Cleo, audiences are much more sophisticated these days, and simply loading a show with eye candy will not ensure its success. There have been numerous shows since Charlie's Angels that replicated its format, with three or more beautiful women collaborating to solve crimes, and not one has even come close to achieving the success of Charlie's Angels, one of the pioneers of "Jiggle TV". |

> Other question much like Manhunt and Duke Nuke anyone > know of games where rescuing bound and gagged females in > numerocity is a mission objective in a game? The game True Crime: Streets of L.A. has a scene where the hero's partner, Rosie, is kidnapped. She is shown B&G by the villian. The character Rosie is voiced by Michelle Rodriguez. Clip is in the video section. |
Friday January 28 14:54:49 2011 Re: Video Game scenes |
1990's Crime Wave had a nice mission to save a very cute nicely dressed brunette (chloro'ed and tied to a chair). Used actual actors in the game - at the Video Page |

Friday January 28 16:24:40 2011 Manipulated Damsels |
The scene from the video game True Crime (mentioned above, and posted on the Video Page) had a moment where the damsel's bonds were connected to a lever, which the villain pulled to make her hand "wave" at the hero. Are there other scenes where the captor manipulates the damsel's tied arms or other body parts like this (not in a violent or gruesome way, though)? |

Friday January 28 23:18:32 2011 British TV |
Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems that it takes them far longer to transfer there TV series to DVD. Here in america as you know series seems to go onto DVD a few months after their season ends. If this is true, why is it so? |
