La verdad oculta
I believe the Mexican soap opera La Verdad Oculta is in its final couple weeks, wrapping up its US run the first week of March. There are three different b&g scenes in the final ten episodes or so, including one sequence where 3 women are bound and gagged together. La verdad oculta is airing weeknights at 11:00 p.m. CT on Univision.

Did anything happen on GH?
Did anything happen with Laura Wright on General Hospital?
I thought someone said that Sonny was going to prevent her from ruining his wedding?

If you think about it how serious can a superhero show be?
Anyway it all sounds good to me:

The David E. Kelley series will reportedly follow the DC comic heroine as she tries to balance her superhero fighter persona with her real-life job as a successful corporate exec. Sounds kinda like Barbara Gordon/Batgirl's dilemma.

I believe that happens next week. As I remember, this was a spoiler for the week of February 21st.

There are at least 3 things in the works on that show. Here is the 1st paragraph of Wednesday's recap from ABC:

In Ireland Lucky and Siobhan arrive at a shed after roaming the island for hours in search of Siobhan's sister, Megan. They hope that they've come to the right place and lo and behold, when they peer inside, they see Megan bound and gagged. Lucky and Siobhan sneak inside and quickly untie Megan as Siobhan introduces Lucky and explains why Megan was kidnapped. Lucky discovers that Megan's feet are shackled to the floor, which makes rescuing her a bit tricky. Finally he frees her and the threesome are about to escape when the Balkan's thugs return!

Before everyone gets all excited about the b&g comment, she was really tied hands in front and blindfolded.

There is a plotline going on about kidnapping Brenda on her wedding day although previews show her at the wedding so that is pretty unlikely. Brenda = Vanessa Marcil.

Then there was something in the recaps about Sonny asking someone to kidnap Carly to keep her from disrupting the wedding.

So the next week or so could be interesting to say the least. Or people could just end up sitting in rooms untied. Never know with GH which way it will go.

Re: Did anything happen on GH?
GH has been really disappointing these past couple years - they have a lot of kidnappings, but very few full treatments. Hopefully, there will be something good in these next couple weeks. Spoiler for Monday, Feb 21 says Shawn (the guy working for the uber-bad guy, the Balkan) takes Sam (Kelly Monaco) hostage. And National Enquirer spoilers for the week of Feb 28 say: "Brenda finds herself in the Balkan's clutches."

Well sure, you could express your opinion.
Except, as Van pointed out, you're expressing an opinion on something that hasn't happened yet.
In other words, admittedly, you don't know what you're talking about. At least, not yet.
Wouldn't it be nice, if someday, far in the future, people actually waited until they knew what they were talking about before they said anything? Just, you know, as a change of pace?

Similar things were said about the new Charlies Angels. I have to wonder what they are talking about. "This won't be campy--it will show the real challenges faced by three private investigators picked for their looks, or an Amazon princess who fights evil in the modern world..." Huh? The original Wonder Woman was a weird mix of WWII patriotism and a guy's bondage obsession. So sure, be a serious version of the original.

Zorro
I know a lot of folks here are fond of the many damsel scenes with Patrice Martinez from the Zorro tv series that ran back in the 90's.

Amazon.com now has a set of the complete series on sale, so you can get every scene at once. 15 DVD's in the set for only $40.99. That's only about $2.75 per DVD, so quite a bargain. You can find it here:
http://www.amazon.com/Zorro-Complete-Duncan-Regehr/dp/B0041KKBFE/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1297959383&sr=1-1

Or at Amazon.com Just put Zorro the complete series in the search box and it will take you right there.

The original. I am going to believe they will name them like CSI and Law & Order. I would have added either SB.

Two handgags for Diane Kruger. Both come within seconds of each other. Both are relatively long and she does "mmph".

Other than that, nothing for January Jones or anyone else in the film.

Amen to that. I never said I wasn't gonna watch, wish and pray! She's gorgeous, and if something turns up, so much the more exciting. I love surprises.

It's even cheaper at Costco! I don't have the exact amount, but it's available at my local one for cheaper, perhaps even in the $25 range.

Van, we're on the same side here, and I've always been a big fan of your contributions. I made a similar point about Charlie's Angels just a couple of weeks ago. We won't know exactly what we're dealing with until the show's been made.

That said, I think we need to be realistic about the likelihood that someone as powerful as Wonder Woman will be getting full-treatment scenes in a TV show produced in 2011. There's no way a modern broadcast network TV show will actually use the super-kinky early comics as inspiration (outside perhaps a knowing wink here or there). This show also is being developed by a producer who has zero history of mainstream scenes.

I'm not saying a scene with Miss Palicki definitely won't happen, but the elements currently in place don't suggest it. I'm not knocking the show: I'm making a sensible prediction based upon the information that's currently available.

Dianna Agron In "I Am Number Four"
Folks, Dianna Agron, aka "Quinn" from the show Glee, is set to star in tomorrow's film "I Am Number Four." Although the rating right now on Rotten Tomatoes (27%) seems to prohibit any quality viewing, I am wondering if she gets a scene in the film. The trailer does have the hero at one point "where is she?" which makes me assume he's talking her her character. The trailer also shows a putz scene. Can anyone confirm a scene?

Unfortunately, looks like this will amount to nothing. Likely just the thug holding Sam at gunpoint during the wedding chaos because later spoilers say Shawn switches sides and teams with Jason. They are then attacked at the wedding ceremony. So no time for Sam to be taken anywhere.

Problem is the producer David E. Kelly. I'm hoping something more like Boston Public, not Ally McBeal.

What I've heard so for it sounds more like Ally McBeal.

On the upside, while Adrianne Palicki wouldn't have been my first choice, I think she could fit.

As usual, the scripts will tell the tail.

And let's remember that TV shows can morph over time, so early episodes and even the entire first season may not provide the final answer.

Case in point, two Brian's Page favorites:

*T.J. Hooker: In season two, introduced Heather Locklear in a minor role as a precinct desk officer. It wasn't till season three that Stacy Sheridan was promoted to a patrol officer.

*Melrose Place: Season one, was about young twenty-somethings' angst. Premise was revamped, Heather Locklear's Amanda Woodward character created, and MP re-written to become nightime's most over-the-top soap.

The Office
Kinda small occurrence, but in tonight's Office, Michael Scott premiered his movie which featured hostages with their wrist tied in front with some sort of golden bonds. Among the hostages were Jenna Fischer and Mindy Kaling. Sorry to inform after the fact, but perhaps people in different time zones with delayed airings can catch it. NBC also posts the episodes On Demand if anyone is interested.

2 scenes with Jenna Fisher and the indian gal setting against wall with couple of guys. Hands bound in front with re garland. no gags and probably for completist.

GH
Laura Wright was stopped by 2 thugs and picked up around her waist and carried outside near the end of today's episode.
Per Sonny they are preventing her from being at the wedding.
Nothing else shown. Maybe something on Friday.

Anyone know the episode title? I believe Justified aired 3 times per week....the third airing being the week after it's original airing. Wanna make sure to catch it THIS time!

Wow...now THAT was a bit confusing! :-)
The episode will air again tomorrow nite (Friday) at 11 pm central time on FX.
