My preference is Nikes but I don't think I've ever seen these tied together in mainstream.

Dunford was wearing just socks. I think Biel wore trainers.

I think there actually is a scene. The old Charlie's Angel epidsode where 3 masked men kidnap a couple of blonde joggers. They are grabbed and put into a van. They are shown bound and gaggagged in these cute short shorts and Nike shoes IIRC.

Database Slackers
Hi-Ho fellow DiDoids.

I noticed that USA was airing a string of "Burn Notice" episodes, so I bounced the schedule off the database to see if it included any "on topic" episodes.

Remember the episode where Fi (Gaby Anwar) and some dude's wife get kidnapped in formal gowns and are bound and gagged? IT'S NOT IN THE DATABASE!

A little research revealed it's episode 4.8, "Where There's Smoke". I've never seen it, but I have seen screencaps. That's the one.

So, to all you Brian'skteers who *have* seen the episode, and *didn't* take the time to make a dbase entry... Put out your hands... Do it, mister and missie!

*WHACK*

Let that be a lesson to you. I'm *very* disappointed. I've made several dbase entries, and vow to do more. This Grand Experiment is diminished if we all don't do out part.

'Nuff said.

misfits reminder
Just a heads up to all other UK fans, as tonight there looks to be a terrific scene for Antonia Thomas in "Misfits". The show starts at 10 on E4, and in a preview we see Miss. Thomas tightly wrapped in either cellophane or sellotape, and gagged rather nicely with the same stuff. Seems to be a lot of struggling too, so this could turn out to be a classic piece of DiD action (knock on wood).

You can relax old buddy.... I've entered the scene into the database. Just as a sidenote, I generally take the time to enter scenes when I'm the first one to find them and mention them on the discussion page, or if I happen to notice that a scene is missing, and I remember it well enough.

There aren't any real rules to entering scenes into the DB, but it might be nice if that was used as a general rule of thumb - if you're the first one to mention a scene, take the time to enter it. If for some reason you don't want to register to do db adds, or you don't feel your English skills are up to the task, just say so, and somebody else can pick up the slack.

Hey, in one of those "not very useful & probably not very important but kind of interesting" coincidences, I tend to collect scenes & pile the DVD-Rs on my shelf & at some point have a mass "dubbing onto the master" session (I'm old fashoined, I know!). I did this last nite, took about 3 hours, but I had like 15 discs, each with a scene, to dub over. Anyhow, one of these WAS this "Burn Notice" episode. I'd forgotten about it & came across it in the pile. The date was from like in July or something, shows how long I went without dubbing scenes over (I usually do it after 4-5 scenes pile up). So just watched it last nite for the first time (I'd never watched it, just knew it was airing & recorded it & then put the DVD on the pile with a Post-It note saying "Burn Notice"). Funny, then Van brings up that scene today!

What make it even MORE interesting (or am I just easily amused), as I was getting ready for work today, around 6:30 or so, I turned on the TV, it happened to be on USA, and guess what was on??? Yep! THIS episode of "Burn Notice"! I thought to myself "Man, I JUST watched this!". I turned it on about 20 minutes past the hour, during the part where Fiona & the wife are tied & gagged on the laptop monitor screen (and obviously since the scene had already transpired, no point in posting a Late Alert). So I guess it must have come on at 6 am. I never saw an alert for it (not saying there WASN'T one though), but though how funny a coincidence that was.

Ok, now THAT was 3 minutes of your life you'll never get back I know! :-)

Misfits misfire
The scene lasts a second....great build up (it actually has the potential for 3 damsels) but pays off with two brief shots and a minor muffle. In the next scene the damsel is ungagged, and "dead". A wasted opportunity, up there we the recent Hollyoaks disappointments....luckily Vexed paid off with a classic scene a few motnsh back, or otherwise Britian would be letting us down on the DiD side
