| For some sadistic reason I like sort of comic scenes where the Damsel is the butt of the joke. The more mean spirited the better. Scenes like: Spun, Whoops Apocalypse, the scene in Married With Children where Kelly is tied up by the kids. Can anyone think of any more scenes like this they seem to be rare but for some reason I really like them. |

I don't even need it mean-spirited, just slightly frustrating or humiliating like when the damsel is not immediately untied or ungagged by her presumed rescuer (or can't be for plot reasons), like in Knight Rider (two scenes), that German nun TV movie, Young Indian Jones and a few other things I've seen. Any others? |

| Tuesday July 24 21:12:54 2012 Inspector Lewis: Fearful Symmetry |
| Several scenes of interest to some of us in the Masterpiece Mystery episode of Inspector Lewis (Fearful Symmetry) that was shown on PBS this Sunday. The damsel was not gagged, but was artfully bound for several art photos (supposedly her idea) that were shown repeatedly throughout the episode. There was one shot in the set of a laced corset viewed from the back. She was also tied in an upper spreadeagle to a bed after being murdered (suffocated, no blood). My local PBS station repeats it at 11PM Saturday. |
