Re: Horror and Damsels in Distress
there are some good scenes from horror films, and some of my favourites of all time have damsel scenes. So what are your favourites?
This movie and scene are nowhere near as popular or well known as some of the scenes already discussed, but Horror 101 (2000) has a nice scene at the end where 3 chicks are found bound and gagged with silver duct tape in a meat locker.

"About Cherry"
You'd think a mainstream movie about kink.com would have SOMETHING of interest to us in the trailers, but so far not so much as a single frame of, well, anything kinky. Go figure.

All of that right there is why I cannot watch any soap.

Well, most of my favorite scenes from horror movies are from older movies which would scarcely be called scary, certainly by modern standards. A few examples would be:
One of the old "Mummy" movies had a beautiful woman strapped down on an altar near the climax. (you'll have to forgive me; in this and some other examples I don't remember the exact film title or the name of the actress. I can look them up later perhaps.)
Marilyn Burns, who you mentioned, had an even better scene I thought in "Eaten Alive." (Also known by several other titles.) The movie as a whole is awful, really unwatchable imho, but Marilyn tape-gagged and making like a Sunfish stuffed full of new alkaline batteries on a creaky bed is quite a view.
"Dracula vs. Frankenstein" (or vice versa) had a busty babe named I believe Regina Carroll tied in the rather unusual position of her hands pulled up and then back behind her head' helping to showcase her um, talent.
Pat Priest in "The Incredible 2-Headed Transplant." Again, ridiculous movie, but a tremendous scene.
As for slightly scarier movies with scenes, I'd nominate "From Beyond,"(Barbara Crampton (I think) strapped down and later chained with arms wide) and "The Crazies," especially the scene with the heroine strapped down and struggling maybe even more than Marilyn did in "Eaten Alive."

Re: Big update at Dan's site.
Not a fan of fakes but Karen Gillan bound and gagged.... *sigh*, I'd love that to happen for real.

Re: Corazon Valiente
I gotta let loose on some thoughts about this show, coz it had me cracking up as I was doing the edits. lol. And since it kinda relates to the DiD aspect, maybe it won't be deemed off-topic? Either way............

1. Pic #1: what's with the twin baldy bad guys? They remind me of the Mitchell brothers from Eastenders, minus the badass-ness. What's the conspiracy between those 2, anyway?

2. Pic #2: speaking of baldy on the right, ain't he one creepy looking mofo?!

3. Pic 3#: greasy guy on the right reminds me way too much of Alberto Del Rio from WWE.

4. As cute as I think Vanessa Pose is, those noises she makes (whether gagged or ungagged) are horrible to listen to. Seriously, they should stuff some Dominic Wolfe-style packing in that trap of hers. 'C' over at the Dark Side said it best (link below), it really is an "irritatingly loud braying noise".

5. And when it comes to actual sentences, all I ever hear from Pose is "Por favor! Por favor! Por favoooor!"

Night Bitch cast for Kick-Ass 2
I know this is pure speculation at this point but considering how much I enjoyed the first movie, I am REALLY looking forward to seeing this even if Night Bitch doesn't find herself in any bondage predicaments. Considering the violence and language of the first movie, it certainly isn't out of the realm of possibility. This chick is a total cutie and if the costume is replicated even remotely close to what it looks like in the comics, she is going to make one hot heroine. One hot heroine I'd love to see strung up from the ceiling and interrogated.

Same here, though "Doctor Who" has been one big dissapointment in the B&G department. At least Dan has rectified some of the oversights, but I'd like to a double-play with Janet Fielding and Sarah Sutton.

horror and damsels in distress
I'm not a horror movie fan or of any of their offshoots, but it has always struck me, given the damsel in distress nature of the genre how relatively few b&g scenes they produce.
Now before someone runs to their keyboard and start rattling off a number of scenes in horror movies, note that my emphasis is on relative. Given the number of horror films that have been made, RELATIVELY few of them have had b&g scenes in them. I'm not saying that there have not been any scenes, just that given the nature of the genre there haven't been as many scenes, in my honest opinion, as there should have been.
Again I didn't say there have been no scenes, just that there should have been more scenes given the number of these type of films. Again imho.
