So, media makes it possible Anna, the older I get the more I believe you are absolutely right. Sadly bondage remains one of those taboos that isn't discussed over dinner parties. It clearly isn't everyone's cup of tea, but a lot more are into it than admit it I think. |

Interesting article, and it validates the complaint that I put into the DB entry: "On the negative side ... the issue of anybody who spends as much time in the water as this character not being able to stay on the surface with her wrists taped in front of her just makes the scene silly." Her sinking like a stone as soon as she entered the water ruined the scene for me, and the fact that they had to actually put weights on her and pull her under while filming proves the point. They should have made a point of having weights attached to the character to get her to sink. |

| Can anyone recommend some good comic book covers with women tied up? No candidates from the 1940's that some guy is going to have triple vacuum sealed, mounted like a trophy, and wanting thousands of bucks for. I just mean common comics that'll be somewhere in the long boxes for a few dollars. I'm not a gag snob (although I certainly don't mind them) so non-gag scenes are okay. Just like to see fabulous babes tied up. Going to be hitting a comic book show next weekend so would really appreciate suggestions of titles to look for. Many thanks to all. |

Was just reading a story about former #1 tv show "Cheers," which in its first week came in dead last in the ratings. Not for its timeslot that night, but for the week, any day, any time. I was never a fan of that show myself, but I did like it back when networks (and viwers) had a little bit of patience. |

Those covers were a ploy to entice lovelorn adolescents into buying the comic book. |
