Also along those lines, the character played by Riki Lindhome got a voluntary chloroform moment on this week's episode of Another Period (the show's second episode, titled "Divorce"). It's really just for completists; someone holds a rag against her face for a couple of seconds, and she passes out on a bed. The joke is that she needs to be unconscious to get through sex with her husband, who's gay. Not much there, but Lindhome (who created, produces and writes the show with her petite-but-sexy costar Natasha Leggero) is really cute, so I enjoyed the context. |
