Friday June 29 09:57:31 2012 Endure |
This movie, in the data base, has been shown on HBO recently, and could have been an all time great - is still an excellent find. Starting with an extreme close up in the very first scene (that lasts over a minute or two), this actress is tightly cleave gagged while lying on her side, with a terrified look on her face. Soon afterward, she is dragged into a car, driven into a forest and tied AOH to a tree. Spends most of the movie in that helpless position, with many closeups throughout. My "complaint," a small one, is hands tied in front, not behind her back. Seems to me, especially before being tied to the tree, she could have easily tried to ungagged herself, maybe get up and run (feet never tied). Still, great facial closeups of a tightly gagged face, looking alternately scared, demoralized, etc., and an almost staggering amount of bondage time for a commercial movie - action seemed to be spread over several days. A must see, especially for tight cleave gag fans. |

Friday June 29 11:09:11 2012 Favorite scene being shown |
Probably my all-time classic favorite scene - bar none - is the otherwise laughable movie "The Incredible Two Headed Translant" with the immortal Pat Priest (from The Munsters) done up well. This hardly ever plays on TV, maybe once every few years, but it is being shown tomorrow night (Saturday) in the Albany, NY area. Don't know if this is a national television network (WRGB classic TV), but hopefully it is, and everyone can see it. Specific info posted on VCR Alerts page. |

So we'd like to believe (for our purposes). But the reality is not all victims are that 'brave'. Some people get so terrified they literally can't move or scream. But depending on the filmmaker a scene like that (in Endure) can be shot realistically. |

This is also the case for the Boston market (on "THIS-TV"). Caught the promo last night. Suffice it to say, I'll have the VCR running...I can never get enough of this one. |

She wasn't shown again on Friday. This makes 6 of the last 7 episodes she wasn't shown. No wonder nobody watches these soaps anymore. Even if you follow the show, how can a storyline disappear for 6 days out of 7? |
Friday June 29 14:27:35 2012 Re: "Endure" |
This film was followed closely on this site. It first came to our attention when we saw a story about how they made an early promo before it before the actual actress for the film was hired. They actually auditioned women to be just in the promo and had several women come in and took pictures of them gagged before selecting the one they used in that early promo. |

That's what made the movie so oustanding.. the "terrified" aspect of it. That actress was seeming so scared to move it made for a perfect DiD scenario IMO - not the pathetic looking recent DOOL caps. Those looked so bad that I wouldn't even bother adding them to any collection. BTW, that Judd Nelson has sure acted in some heavy duty DiD stuff, huh?? |

Don't know about the west coast, or Kansas, or places like that. And, I too can watch this one all the time. As mentioned, this is probably my favorite classic scene OF ALL-TIME. BAR NONE. |

Would certainly be in my top five. (And I'd have to think hard for one that tops it.) She's gorgeous. she's wearing a nightie, the restraints are believable, she struggles desperately to alert help, and when you think it's coming to an end... it doesn't. I love it when her hubby (the equally immortal Bruce Dern) comes into the lab where she's bound and is concerned only about the damage that she caused trying to sound the alarm. Just adds another little layer to her helplessness. |

Friday June 29 16:27:05 2012 Taken 2 |
Trailer for the upcoming action movie "Taken 2" shows a woman, possibly the hero's wife, being led away with hands bound behind her back and a hood over her head. Sorry if it was mentioned already and I missed it. |
Friday June 29 16:31:39 2012 Scenes? |
Can anyone recall a scene where two or more bound and gagged characters talk to each other through their gags, and subtitles on screen translate what they are "mmphing"? |
