Saturday May 11 08:24:09 2019 Nomis 2019 |
Nomis is apparently being released in places like Portugal and Russia in August but worryingly no dates for the UK or the US etc so it could end up having a very limited cinema run or none at all. Hopefully we'll see it eventually. Stunning Eliana Jones will definitely get some treatment, hopefully full. And maybe Alexandra Daddario too if we're really lucky, but that is much less certain. Frustratingly long wait for any new pix or info. And no trailer either. Could be a massive turkey but if it has good bondage who cares |
Saturday May 11 10:13:28 2019 The Carpenter's House 2018 |
Plot of this Italian film revolves around an all-girl rock band captured by a paycho in an old saw-mill or some such. Trailer shows brief glimpses of chains-bound girls. Looks v.bloody. Anybody out there seen this yet? Any worthwhile f/t treatment before the blood and gore ruins it all? |
Saturday May 11 15:56:16 2019 Tempting Fate |
I figured Alyssa Milano would be heading toward Lifetime movies at some point, and she finally does on June 15, with "Tempting Fate." Typical Lifetime storyline, married woman gets pregnant with bad guy's baby, etc. Nothing in the promo, but the premise is certainly there. Hopefully, the first of several Alyssa movies for Lifetime. Also, Hallmark will air 3 Hallie Dean movies with Kellie Martin starting this Sunday. These are usually a waste of time, but you never know. Lauren Holly also in these awful films. So much wasted potential on Hallmark. |

Looks like the Milano movie is the first of three straight, followed June 22 and June 29 with movies with Did veterans Erika Christensen and Elisabeth Rohm. |
Saturday May 11 16:27:38 2019 Cimarron Strip |
Anyone recall this scene? May well amount to not much, but my youngster memory always remembered this b/g scene from 1967 to be something really good. Anyway, shows up on TV next week - see alerts. Title: Cimarron Strip Medium: TV Series Actress: Jill Townsend Description: Episode: "Whitey" (1.7) Jill Townsend (Dulcey Coopersmith) is sitting on stool in run down log cabin. Whitey has kidnapped Jill, is picking up ropes & says "put your hands behind you", she does & he ties her hands behind back, later her ankles are tied & she is laying on a blanket on the dirt floor. |

Anyway, shows up > on TV next week - see alerts. > Title: Cimarron Strip > Medium: TV Series > Actress: Jill Townsend > Description: Episode: "Whitey" (1.7) I’m putting an age on myself, but yes, I do remember this scene when originally broadcast (October 19, 1967, per IMDb). I was 12 years old at the time, and my Dad liked TV westerns. Miss Townsend, 22 years old at the time, was a very pretty girl; not in a glamorous way, but in a girl-I-wished-lived-next-door kind of way. She also had a definitive but not pronounced English accent. In fact, she would have been perfect to cast as Sweet Gwendoline, assuming there had been a producer daring enough to do it at the time. It was a pity that she had only one other DiD scene (The Girl From U.N.C.L.E. "The Drublegratz Affair" (1.19)). A pity also that she turned out not to have a sense of humor (which is to say, she never got the gag). As for the Cimarron Strip scene, it is indeed brief (five minutes bondage airtime). And while it does have onscreen tying and untying, it suffers from the usual deficiency (hands tied behind, but bonds not visible). But your memory of it being something special is quite correct. <SPOILER ALERT> Dulcey’s abductor is a pitiful loser rather than a wicked scoundrel. And this is one of those rare bondage scenes where things get out of control and the villain has to become a hero in order to save the girl. It’s well worth watching. Trivia: Jill Townsend’s father, Robert Townsend, was the former CEO of Avis Car Rental, and the author of the business classic, “Up The Organization”. |
