A guy would put on a cape and top hat and tie a woman playing the damsel up to fake railroad tracks or a pretend buzzsaw or a chair with pretend dynamite under it and a guy playing the hero would ride to her rescue. They’d do it during breaks in sporting events, during variety shows, wherever you needed brief entertainment. I don’t think people do these skits enough now. I see a marching band regularly play the theme from Dudley Do-Right and I always hope they’ll act out Snidely Whiplash tying poor Nell to the tracks as he does in the opening of the show but they never do it. |

I have a sizable collection of movie props, not just related to the interests of this page. (Wardrobe, props, call sheets, etc) But with regards to the theme of this page, I own the gags used on Bahar Soomekh in Saw 3 (and the bindings), Diane Lane in Untraceable, Paula Patton in 2 Guns, Laura Vandervoort in V and Alexa Vega in a deleted scene from Repo! I also have the bindings used on Sherilyn Fenn as well as the afore-mentioned Prison Break Callies lot. I know Eliza Dushku's Wrong Turn gags and bindings were sold, as well as Monica Potters gag and bindings from Saw. I have also seen Andrea Roth's gag from Collector for sale, too. |

IIRC, it was used to advise people to make sure that their homeowner’s insurance is up to date. |

When I was a freshman in high school, some of the upperclassmen from the drama department put on such a skit. While the novelty song “Along Came Jones” by the Coasters played in the background, the actors followed the song’s narrative. When they got to the part about tying Poor Sweet Sue to the railroad tracks, the girl playing the damsel helpfully placed her finger on the half-knot so that the boy playing the villain could tie it good and tight. The whole thing was hilarious. |

| Some impressive collections some here have. Must be pretty awesome to own bindings and gags actually used onscreen. One bondage-related prop I've wondered what happened to is the leather muzzle-type mask Terry Farrell sported in her classic Hellraiser III scene. That'd be an awesome one to own for sure. Wonder if she kept it? |
