Re: "The Inbetween" scene 07/18
All right, I went through the recording and made a DB entry. Oddly, the main victim doesn't seem to be named in the show and there is no credit in the IMDB or elsewhere for the part. If anyone gets more information later, you know what to do.

Record number: 24421

Title: The InBetween
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Harriet Dyer, Crystal Dalman, unknowns

Description: Episode: The Length of a River (1.06)

All times based on original broadcast.

In the opening minute, cops are gathering plan tracking down a serial killer who strikes on the same date each year. There is a board with the past three incidents, with still photos of women that have been tied (hands behind) cleave-gagged, and drowned in a bathtub.

At about the 4 minute mark, the killer has struck again. The body of Shelly Edwards (Dalman) is next to the bathtub Her hands are zip-tied behind, and cleave-gagged as above.

At about 45 minutes, Cassie (Dyer) goes into a vision. Her bathtub is overflowing. Suddenly her hands are zip-tied in front. She is then thrust headfirst into the tub.

The main cop and partner rush to the next victim's house. The killer is woman, whose fiance left her for the wedding planner. The killer has the wife (unknown) at close gunpoint. She is cleave-gagged with white cloth. While the first cop talks to the killer, there are a number of closeups. Eventually the partner wounds the killer. There is a brief view of the victim's hands as they fall to the floor.

Re: The Banana Splits
To anyone who's at SDCC who caught the premiere, anything of note bondage-wise or is it a complete bust?

Child's Play
Scene of the year. Can't believe it's gone into the night so quickly.

Good gag-talk, good struggling, best reactions of a damsel in years.

Weird that the character that appears only as a corpse gets a credit, and the one that gets screen time and struggles (even without any lines)doesn't. I haven't been able to find any credit information for her either, but I'm sure that sooner or later we'll get some ID on her.

Reason: I didn't realize this was a CGI production. Shows how much I've been paying attention to it.

Here are several examples of unusual gags:

Title: Bonanza Episode: "Desperate Passage" (9.8) Damsel: Tina Louise
Tina Louise’s character is bound (ankles tied, hands behind) and gagged with a stick gag.

Title: Josie and the Pussycats (1970) Episode: "The Nemo’s a No-No Affair" (1.01) Damsel: Animated (voiced by Sherry Alberoni)
Josie and the gang run afoul of a modern incarnation of Captain Nemo. His men capture the group by means of special guns. The guns shoot sticky strands that, on contact, wrap around the victim. Alexandra Cabot (voiced by Sherry Alberoni), the group’s loudmouthed, obnoxious co-manager gives Nemo’s men a piece of her mind, even as more and more strands wrap around her. One strand makes contact high, and then neatly coils itself around her head - at mouth level.

Title: The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension (1984) Damsel: Ellen Barkin
Penny Priddy (Ellen Barkin) is tied to a chair and gagged with mouth packing secured by a small diameter rope that ends in two small red balls that dangle in front of her mouth.

Title: Beetlejuice (1988) Damsel: Geena Davis
To prevent Geena Davis’ character from speaking his name three times in succession, Beetlejuice uses his magic powers to zip her lip (literally) and rivet a metal plate over that.

Title: Once Upon a Time (2011) Episode: "Mother’s Little Helper" (6.16) Damsel: Jennifer Morrison
Emma (Jennifer Morrison) is cocooned in the silk of a giant spider (including over the mouth).

Title: Galaxy of Terror (1981) Damsel: Erin Moran
Allura (Erin Moran) is part of the crew of a rescue/recovery mission dispatched to a distant planet. The crew enters what is essentially a living pyramid. At one point, cables leap out of the walls and wrap around Allura. One cable wraps around her open mouth. The cables constrict and kill her.

Title: Pony Soldier (1952) Damsel: Penny Edwards
At about the 25 minute mark, Emerald Neeley (Penny Edwards) is captured by the Cree and briefly bitgagged.
At about the 70 minute mark, she is captured for a second time. She is bound (hands behind) and given a more elaborate bitgag, consisting of a strip of leather secured by thongs wrapped around the ends.

Title: Title: Star Trek: The Animated Series Episode: “Once Upon a Planet” (1.09) Damsel: Animated (voiced by Nichelle Nichols)
Lt. Uhura (voiced by Nichelle Nichols) is abducted by a hovering drone that has three servo arms that end in large clamps. Later, when Uhura tries to shout a warning to Kirk and Spock, a drone clamps Uhura’s mouth shut. Of course, whether this is a legit gag or simply a high-tech handgag (clampgag?) is subject to debate. But it is usual.

Title: The New Avengers (1976) Episode: "Hostage" (2.7) Damsel: Joanna Lumley
Purdey (Joanna Lumley) is chloroformed and abducted. Later, she is seen tied to a chair and gagged with an apple in the mouth.

Title: Once Upon a Time (2011) Episode: "Quiet Minds" (3.15) Damsel: Rebecca Mader
At about the halfway point, Zelena (Rebecca Mader), the Wicked Witch of the West, gets bound and OTM-gagged briefly - by CGI rings of fire.

Finally, one of the most famous examples:

Title: Gilligan's Island Episode: "How to Be a Hero" (1.23) Damsels: Dawn Wells, Tina Louise, Natalie Schafer
Mary Ann (Dawn Wells), Ginger (Tina Louise), and the Professor are tied to stakes and gagged by a head hunter. Later, Thurston and Lovey (Natalie Schafer) also are bound to stakes though not gagged. The gags on the first trio consist of leafy material in the mouth secured by what appear to be several windings of thin vines. Well, on a deserted island, you have to make do with what you have.

Re: Most unusaul gags
Title: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Elena Satine

Description: Episode: "Yes Men" (1.15)

The Asgardian warrior Lady Sif (Jaimie Alexander) is on the hunt for the Asgardian criminal Lorelei, who uses her beauty and the power of her voice to enslave men.

Shortly after the 35 minute mark (without commercials) Sif finally captures Lorelei and snaps a collar around her neck that spreads out and forms a muzzle that prevents her from speaking. Over the next few minutes of the episode, there are a few fairly brief shots of Lorelei muzzled and with hands shackled in front of her.

Title: I Fobici (1999)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Sabrina Ferilli

Description: Humourous handcuff sex scene. Wrists cuffed to headboard and sort of gagged with an apple

agree on some
I agree with these you posted as they are unusual and some what not very stimulating
Beetlejuice (1988) Damsel: Geena Davis Once Upon a Time (2011) Episode: "Mother’s Little Helper" Galaxy of Terror (1981) Damsel: Erin Moran The New Avengers (1976) Episode: "Hostage" (2.7) Damsel: Joanna Lumley
but these Bonanza Episode: "Desperate Passage" (9.8) Damsel: Tina Louise The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension (1984) Damsel: Ellen Barkin Pony Soldier (1952) Damsel: Penny Edward are not that (IMHO) not that! rare and are quite good
the others I have not seen and can not comment on

Just a heads up
The third season of Casa de Papel and the new season of Veronica Mars should be releasing today. I just read that Hulu is releasing Veronica earlier as a surprise or something. Both shows have potential, so, just a heads up!

Ones that I can think of that have not been mentioned would be:
Emma Grabinsky from R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour S4E4, mouth gets turned into a zip
Diane Guerrero from Doom Patrol S1E6, mouth gets frozen shut
Kathryn Newton from Detective Pikachu, wrapped up and gagged by a tongue
Kou Shibasaki from Onna Joshu Naotora E21, stuff gagged with a riceball

There have been some with pieces of fruit - the best ones I recall offhand was Christina Ricci with an apple, in one of the Addams Family features, and the very pretty Senta Berger in some lame prehistoric movie, I think it was a lemon that was shoved into her mouth.

Veronica Mars
Haven’t watched it yet, but Hulu released the new season a week early. All episode available as I post this.

Haven't checked the whole show, but episode 4 is when she gets grabbed by the gang as in the trailer and it leads to nothing, so go ahead and lower your expectations for the rest of the episodes.
