Re: Scene ID
Gee whiz how good is the premise for Ready Or Not? Basically everyone hunt the damsel. No putzes like The Hunt, just one damsel who happens to resemble Margot Robbie. Bliss :). And that panel gag OOH LA LA. If there's a big red ball or leather plug inserted in her mouth under the panel I may drop dead of sheer happiness in the cinema(please let my city get a cinema release). Good Times...

Re: The Banana Splits
SDCC is this weekend and this movie will be screened there. Anyone here who's in attendance who sees the film, please inform us ASAP of any DID scenes. Nothing is guaranteed so far but the potential for some DID material is certainly there and it'd be awesome to hear if there is indeed any.

They 99% of the time go extra soft on the actress what scenes are convincing? It is not like OTM or cleave scenes do a better job.

Re: Scene ID
Samara Weaving definitely has a touch of Margot Robbie about her. Yet another blonde Aussie Angel in La La Land :). Was hoping she'd get a scene in last year's Picnic At Hanging Rock remake. Didn't have to wait long. Freakin panel-gag no less. Nice longish scene will be a must-see. Should get a wide cinema release methinks

"The Inbetween" scene 07/18
A second scene showed up in this evening's episode. A serial killer is attacking newlyweds, the wife drowned and the husband tortured and shot.

Cassie flashes into some of the drownings, in one it looks like victims hands are restrained in front. I didn't see the whole thing, and haven't reviewed the recording, but looking at the trailer there was one of the dead wives in the bathroom tied and cleave-gagged.

Near the end, the lead cop interrupts the latest crime, and the wife is held at close gunpoint. She is apparently tied, with a white cloth cleave.

A fair amount of closeups as the cop talks to the killer. When the killer is shot by the partner, you get a brief look at the wife's tied hands.

Note, the husband is tied to a chair and bloody during this.

Arguing about best/worst or most/least effective gags is non-productive. Cease.

I watched the trailer and didn’t see anything suggesting anything of interest. Any horror movie or thriller has potential for something. Why is everyone going “bananas” over this one?

Re: The Banana Splits
Hard to judge by a mere trailer that only shows a little bit of the film. The actual full-length movie could potentially have some DID material. Wouldn't be the first time there was a surprise scene or two.

I'm sure this one has a mouth plug but it's mostly hidden by camera angles.

Ready Or Not
Samara Weaving. Hugo's niece, lovely. Mister Annnderson etc. Speaking of Keanu they're finally doing a Bill & Ted threequel - Samara is in that too so she may get some more DiD action if she's playing a Princess Babe-type :) character

Re: Ready Or Not
I really hope there's a mouth plug insert in Samara's panel gag that would be awesome. The only ones I know for sure that had plugs are the aforementioned gags in Dune and Romance. Wyrmwood had wires down her throat but that would've been trick photography. Couldn't see if there was a plug in Maika Monroe's Tau gag she removed it too quickly but I bet there wasn't. Without a mouth plug panel gags wouldn't silence anything so keen to see Samara's gag soon

Brian was wrong about something back around nought-one or nought-two. He said he was wrong about something, but it turned out he was right.

Re: Ready Or Not
Speaking of panel gags and Francesca Annis' classic Dune type Dennis Villeneuve's Dune remake is currently in full swing and Rebecca Ferguson is definitely playing the iconic Lady Jessica. After his epic Blade Runner 2049 this will probably be the Dune film we've all been waiting for. Who knows what sort of gag she will sport maybe panel maybe something else but you can be guaranteed with Villeneuve's attention to detail it will be very effective. Plus he's staying closer to the original novel and Jessica's scene was much longer than what Lynch(sorry,Smithee)portrayed in '84. Shall follow production with great interest

Re: Ready Or Not
Seems like Samara's bondage happens at the end of the film as she appears rather beat up(is she missing some fingers on one hand?). They mention something about sacrifice in the trailer so hence the elaborate platform and panel gag - it's all been pre-planned. Can't see her freeing herself so things look pretty grim for her character...in true DiD cliffhanger style lol. Presumably she will be rescued in the proverbial nick o' time. This film should be a real treat as Samara is literally a damsel in distress from the get-go. Culminating in bondage. Another rare cinema treat for our discerning tastes

Based of the photos of this series on imdb there are three more different scenes at least.

Let's cut the speculation. Wait for the movie to come out.

Most unusaul gags
What are some of the most unusual gags have there been, whether or not it did anything for you. Mine would be from the Perils of Gwendoline, especially this one.
Gwendoline's friend (Zabou) is chained topless to wall, arms at side. Metal plug in her mouth is attached to string, which is attached to nasty spear-tossing device.
And it really didn't do anything for me, even though it was quite affective.
any others
