Honestly, I was expecting absolutely ZIP in this film, so seeing this was such a pleasant and welcome surprise. Especially consider how adorable Kathryn Newton is. Also, I am aware I am in the minority, but I like scenes where the damsel is bound and gagged in a creative and unique way...in this case, a Pokémon. Haha. A nice change of pace. Still, I hope Miss Newton gets a proper full treatment scene in the near future.

I just watched my VHS copy of this flick - was as good as remembered. Only thing I would add is that the hand gag was maybe not quite as long as I had thought it was. Still, great scenes, and a good suspenseful movie to boot.

BTW, VHS player/recorders are still available online - I just looked up some JVC models.

What about this one?

Record number: 4659

Title: Desperate Hours (1990)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Kelly Lynch, Shawnee Smith

[...]

Soon after, Rourke and his gang of thugs invade the home of Anthony Hopkins and take his family hostage. Early in the invasion, at 40mins, teen daughter May (Smith) receives the first of two handgags. This one is brief, but the second is much longer, lasting for nearly three minutes of screen time when a delivery man comes to the door at 43-46mins. Some great struggling as the thug keeps her tightly muzzled while she tries to mmpphh quietly. A great handgag scene!

Street Justice had a couple, on the episodes "On My Honor" (2.16) and "Hello Again" (2.19).

Sure...I just recently (well, 6 months or so ago) purchased a new VCR off eBay (a Panasonic) that I've been using to convert the many scenes & stuff I have on VHS tapes over to DVD. They are still out there but hard telling for how long.
