As she is turned around to be led away, we get an excellent shot of her backside, her hands secured by what appears to be a Handcuff Knot. Title: Dragnet (1967) Episode: "Homicide DR 22" (3.14) Damsel: Unknown Friday and Gannon investigate the murder of a young blonde who was hogtied and gagged by home invaders and subsequently killed by a blow to the head. Excellent full shots and close-up shots of her bound hands. Title: Rookie Blue Episode: "Surprises" (4.01) Damsel: Missy Peregrym Undercover officer Andy McNally (Missy Peregrym), having been knocked unconscious at the end of the last act, awakens inside a truck to find herself sporting a black tape wraparound gag and her hands bound behind with the same black tape. We get some rear shots of her bound hands as she scrambles to her feet inside the truck and later as she is hustled out of the truck and into a nearby warehouse. Title: T.J. Hooker Episode: "Outcall" (4.14) Damsel: Heather Locklear Undercover officer Stacy Sheridan (Heather Locklear) has her cover blown and ends up bound and gagged (what, again?). The huge, powerful villain carries the bound and unconscious Stacy into a warehouse using just one arm. As he does so, we see her hands bound behind, but it’s blink-and-you’ll-miss-it. Title: The Bionic Woman (1976) Episode: "Rodeo" (3.5) Damsel: Lindsay Wagner Jaime Summers (Lindsay Wagner) has her hands positioned palm-to-palm behind her back and tied with heavy rope. But she has a problem. Although her bionic right arm is powerful enough to break the heavy ropes, she’d tear off her real left arm in the process. So instead, she positions the ropes against a wooden post. Moving her arms up and down at super-speed, the heat and abrasion destroys her bonds, setting her free. Title: CHiPs Episode: "The Game of War" (5.21) Damsel: Sandra Kerns Left alone bound hand and foot and gagged inside a panel van, Miss Kearns’ character puts both herself and her bound-behind hands in the frame several times as she thrashes about furiously. Title: Counterstrike Episode: "Clear Cut" (3.14) Damsel: Sophie Michaud While investigating a case in logging country, Counterstrike agent Gabrielle Germont (Sophie Michaud) is captured, then bound and gagged, onscreen. The actress and her bound-behind hands are both in the frame several times as she is first hustled around an office and later marched into the woods for disposal. Title: Mission: Impossible (1966) Episode: "The Question" (7.16) Damsel: Elizabeth Ashley Saved best for last. Miss Ashley, as one-time IMF agent Andrea, is left alone in a bedroom bound hand and foot and gagged. She maneuvers over to a telephone and, despite her hands being tied behind her back, contacts Jim Phelps and taps out a message with her fingernail. |
