80s snare scene
I saw a scene about a year ago from a late-80s or early-90s movie, where there's a girl with long blonde hair who is walking on a street or in an alleyway. She steps in to an ankle snare, and is hoisted up into the air, hanging upside down. Then a guy, who I assumed to be a criminal or mob moss or some variety, approaches her smugly, and she is abducted. I vivdly remember the snare being very out of place, in a city setting as opposed to the traditional jungle setting. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Re: FBI Next Week
Would be cool for this show to finally deliver something DID-wise. Between this and a potential new scene for Missy.

Gags with blindfolds
Gonna channel my inner Sam Steffen and ask for something a bit specific: Can anyone think of scenes where a damsel is blindfolded (doesn't have to be onscreen) THEN gagged onscreen.....in that order. Preferably in close-up, or at least not from a distance.

See there's a certain Visual™ to it which I find all sorts of yum, in that she can't anticipate when -- or from where -- the unpleasant surprise of her gag is coming. Even better if she doesn't start yelling & just accepts it.

In MacMillan and Wife ("The Fine Art of Staying Alive"; 2.06), the kidnapped Susan Saint James is un-gagged during the ransom call so that she can tell Mac that she's OK (and also provide him subtle clues), then is re-gagged onscreen.

The blindfold stays on throughout so that she's unable to identify them.

Unfortunately the version I have cuts away JUST as they put the mouth packing to her face, so we don't get a full onscreen gagging in that instance.

Also Beverley Henry as a lawyer in Street Justice ("Tables Turned").

Definitely CSI: New York - Smooth Criminal with Lesley-Ann Brandt. She is already blindfolded and he on screen cleave gags her

Nancy Drew
Promo for next Wednesday's Nancy Drew shows Nancy played by Kennedy McMann getting chloroformed. Later shows her restrained with rope around her neck.

About time! I really hope she gets a gag at some point in the episode. It also looks like there’s potential for Bess. According to the synopsis, I believe the person who kidnapped Nancy is doing so to get to Bess.

Nancy Drew next week?
Quick shot in the preview of next week's episode showed some woman, maybe Nancy, apparently getting chloroformed. I wasn't recording and can't be sure of the identity. Given the way the series has gone out of its way to avoid scenes, I'm not expecting much. But anyway, there's a chance.

I wouldn’t say they’ve “gone out of their way to avoid” when they’re dealing with ghosts, not criminals. It’s kinda hard for a spirit to bind and gag someone, let alone have the need to.

Re: Nancy Drew next week?
Like the neck ropes they look very secure. Hopefully nice shots of her wrists and feet too. Will there be a gag? Nope. You can bet on that. Gag Snobs will cry tears of blood for years over this one.

Yeah given the source material and the fact that they’re now finally seeming to go back towards having some of the cases be criminal related. I think we might start to get some scenes.

I think you might be right. There’s a split second frame in the promo that shows a brunette with a dark jacket with a rope around her neck similarly to the once Nancy had. Bess is shown in the promo in a dark jacket. If they give us a scene with both Bess and Nancy and gags are involved, this could be scene of the year material.
