OK, I have a _Very_ dim memory of this one TV scene that left an impression on me as a kid in the Early '80s. I have never read or seen any reference to it anywhere since. It's possible that my memory is playing tricks on me, but then again there was a lot of odd TV content back then that aired once and never again.

Villains are plotting to rob some isolated outpost in the desert, possibly in the Australian Outback. They bind & cleave-gag an older woman so she can't alert the rest of the skeleton crew of people there. They get discovered anyway, so they wind up with a small group of 4-8 (IIRC) people tied up (But not gagged, since they've already been found out and there is no one around for miles).

A young man mouths off to the bandits, so they take the gag off the lady and put it on him. He trashes around trying to work the gag off and another captive (A pretty woman) admonishes him to relax and just accept it because he might hurt himself. Later she says something that annoys the baddies, so they take the gag off the young man and gag her. This keeps happening over and over until the nasty, damp gag makes a complete circuit around the group and everybody has had a turn wearing it for a while. It was supposed to be semi-humorous (IIRC) but the actors really sold the humiliation and discomfort of it and looked miserable.

Totally forgotten. I don't even remember if it was a TV episode or a movie. Left a big impression on me at that Pre-VCR, Pre-Internet moment, then lost forever to time.

Somerset (70's Soap Opera)
Did anyone catch this NBC soap opera back then? It had young stars like Audrey Landers and Sigourney Weaver

Title: Toast of London
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Rachel Shelley

Description: Episode: "Submission" (1.04)

Commander Scott-Gorham (Shelley) is shown being held captive in a submarine at 18mins. Seated on a chair, her hands are bound in front with lots of white rope which is connected and looped around her bound ankles in a front hogtie, forcing her to hunch over. She is also stuff gagged with a piece of black cloth, but this is quickly removed. Some inane banter ensues between her and two male co-stars until she frees herself about 2mins later.

She wears a white sailor suit (complete with a short skirt which gives us a brief upskirt when she gets up off the chair) and white shoes.

Times without commercials.

I'm not 100% sure, but it sounds to me like it was from a movie called "Chase Through the Night". There were 4 folks in the captive group...2 men & 2 women. One was the older heavy set one you described, the other was aan actress named (I believe) Lyn Collingwood. And yeah the gagging pretty did get passed around. Actually there were 2 folks gagged if I recall, and one of the gags did get swapped from person to person so by the end of the scene I think everyone had been gagged at some point.

okay, after watching the scene again, not sure if it's the one you are referring to or not. But the movie IS in the Australian outback & has 4 folks tied together AND one is a heavy set woman. But the gag wasn't exactly passed around the group (always 2 men & 2 women), a younger guy was cleave gagged (no one else was), then he's taken away & another guy joins the group. Then the heavy woman (Lyn Collingwood I think) was OTM gagged, and then a few minutes later we see another man in the group has been randomly gagged (but no one else!) and the heavy woman still gagged. So 2 are gagged, 2 aren't.
And that's the way the scene situation remained.

The movie is available on Utube, start watching around the 1 hr. & 17 minute mark just to see if that's the movie you are thinking of!

Body Brokers
This saw release back in February and is now on physical media, anything DID-wise for Jessica Rothe in it? Been wondering and hopeful if she may have gotten anything bondage-wise in it. She's been on my DID wishlist since Happy Death Day.

Watched the YT video and... I'm about 90% sure it's the same film I saw as a kid, but my memory apparently spiced it up by mixing in bits of another scene(s), real or imaginary. Anyway, thanks very much for the info!

If it’s been out since February and no ones reported anything, usually it’s bad news for us. I’m hoping it’s just something that flew under all our radars. I’ll try to skim it sometime tonight, but unfortunately not expecting much...

Re: Body Brokers
Thanks, appreciate it. Scenes have sometimes gone unreported, not a common occurance but it's happened.
