Three truly helpless damsels with the proper mix of fear and frustration (much more frustration than fear), in danger but not in much REAL danger. It's the kind of old-school, lighthearted scene we should've gotten in some Hallmark mystery movie with Lacey Chabert, Danica McKellar, and Taylor Cole, with Lacey and Taylor's characters gag-arguing before Danica muffles at them in an attempt to mediate, but alas. |

| https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0093201/mediaviewer/rm2121337088/ I just located (on an old hard drive) several uploaded episodes (running time 1.31) which make up the VHS still to be found floating about on eBay - it misleads into thinking it might be the full series. There is a final episode (or 2) missing from it. Clearly leaves on a cliffhanger with the Elke Sommer character and her minion saying they'll get after Tena Tidy (Whitlow) and co. before heading off presumably to do just that! Another Holy Grail then this almost unfindable scene! Thanks for this other one, though the surrealism and kinkiness of the Neat and Tidy second handgag make it really exciting. Hope someone finds one day! |

Emergency! ("Understanding"). Paramedics get called to the scene of a bank robbery to check out the hostages but are not allowed to remove their gags. They ask them if they can breathe alright with the tape on their mouths, if their circulation is OK, etc, and they can only reply with nods or shakes. A VERY brief scene (It probably took you longer to read this than what you actually see on screen), but totally unique. Misfits (episodes 4.01-4.02). Imogen Doel is held captive for days. Her captor keeps her gagged so she can't scream, but he lets her have a Speak-n-Spell so she can still "Talk"! De Dag (Episiode 4). European crime show. A gagged and bound hostage at a bank robbery s squirming around and obviously miserable. When a robber passes by she crosses her legs to send him a signal of just what's bothering her. He gets the hint and unties her so that she can use a bucket in the corner of a storeroom. She keeps her duct tape gag on the whole time, and after she finishes and zips up she obediently walks back to the robber and puts her hands behind her back to retied. |

At gunpoint, she is forced into a smaller room of his hotel suite. Offscreen, Lois is bound with ropes (ankles together, hands behind) and detective gagged. In short order, Clark Kent enters the seemingly empty hotel suite and says, “Anybody here?” From inside the smaller room, Lois shouts a muffled “Help! I'm in here!” She repeats those two sentences until Clark can change clothes and Superman can effect rescue. This is the only time in the entire six seasons of the series that Lois Lane (either Noel Neill or Phyllis Coates) does any gag-talking or even gag-mmmphing. I Love Lucy - "The Gossip" (1.24) – Lucille Ball Challenged by their husbands to stop gossiping, Lucy plasters a huge strip of adhesive tape over her own mouth. But what she knows is to good to keep, so she communicates the gossip to Ethel – by means of charades! |

Haven't watched today's episode yet, but on Friday, the psycho-crazy Jan (who is actually pretty cute herself but almost as crazy as the other psycho-crazy, Kristen!) entered the uber-cute Claire's room and held a gun on her....maybe Claire! And there is a super-hot black girl named Lani on the show who I wouldn't mind seeing in rope & gag...and I don't think the actress playing her has ever had a scene so...... |

| I have a very dim memory from when I was a kid (Late 70's-Early 80's) of seeing a scene on TV where a wealthy mom and her two kids were kidnapped and bundled into a car and the villains put Halloween masks on them so anyone seeing them as they were leaving the scene of the abduction wouldn't see the gags. No idea what this was... in all my decades of collecting mainstream scenes it never popped up again. Another dim memory from the '80s of a Days of Our Lives scene where a woman was held prisoner in a harem. When outsiders would come to visit she was bound and cleave-gagged. Her veil and robes hid her restraints, and the other harem girls would sing to cover her "Mmmphs!" so she just blended in with the harem except for her squirming and pleading eyes. I would love to see this one again. It's a common trope in Japanese fetish movies (And at least once in a mainstream Yakuza film that I saw years ago) for abductors to tape-gag a girl, cover her bounds with a trenchcoat and her gag with a surgical mask, and then just brazenly march her down the street in plain sight. I'm surprised that no current TV cop show or crime/action movie ever did that for the COVID era. Golden idea just lying there. |

Seems like this plot will drag out for a while, so i wouldnt expect a quick resolution. Honestly, the DooL writers must either subscribe to our way of thinking or can think of nothing better to write in order to create drama. |

This happened in several other movies/shows also. -In "SHE" (1935), Helen Mack was brought before the head baddie in a huge ceremony, she's OTM gagged and, so the hero (Helen's sweetie, who was up on the platform with the queen for whatever reason) wouldn't recognize her a veil covered her face (but surprisingly, the veil was fairly translucent and you could actually see thru it, so I'm not sure how effective they thought the "disguise" would be!) as the slaves were bringing her before the queen. -"Stargate SG-1"- Ananda Tapping is brought into a room with a veil over her head. When it's removed we see she's cleave gagged under it - "Justine: a Private Affair"- Daneen Boone is cleave gagged by the baddies who want her for their harem and a veil pulled over her face to hide her gag as she's taken away -Bombs Over London (aka Midnight Menace), and old movie form the 30s, Margaret Vyner is OTM gagged and has a scarf pulled over her face so she can be lead past security guards without alerting them -I'm not positive but I think that in "Scorpion King 3", when Krystal Vee is tied to the post & cleave gagged in the king's tent in a harem costume, she might have been wearing a veil covering her face at one point. |

| At the very end of today's episode, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs, who has had a few full treatment scenes before, in her less frumpy days, in "Time Trax" and "Days of Our Lives") was seen tied to a chair & tape gagged by resident baddie Cyrus Renault. The scene will definitely continue tomorrow. There is actually a few interesting plotlines going on with possible ladies in peril. Nina (Cynthia Watros) is currently playing with fire trying to get evidence on a baddie named Elijah, who is smarter than she thinks and has already gotten suspicious as to what Nina is up to. Also, the yummy Sasha (Sophia Mattsson) has become a bit of an obsession to Cyrus, who may try to kidnap her at some point, especially as he has just found out that his chauffeur Brando (incidentally, Glady's son!) has gotten her pregnant and Cyrus, who wanted Sasha for himself, is seething. And Peter August (Port Charles's other resident bad guy) continues to be obsessed with his former fiancee Maxie, who is carrying his baby and trying to keep psycho Peter out of their lives (but Peter wants just the opposite!) and he said he wants all 3 of them to "go far far away" once the baby is born. Stay tuned! |

For the last month or so all it has been is pregnancies and false pregnancies. And if the action is going to pick up, let's hope they get over the trend they've fallen into of just having it be guys and/or older women. Sasha would be really fine, or they could do something with about seven other hotties on standby with nothing much going on for them. |
