Thursday June 24 07:30:22 2021 A Time To Kill |
Just switched on the tv and A Time To Kill is on. Sandra Bullock in her absolute prime. If only she had've been gagged during her kidnap sequence. Never read the book, was her character gagged in that? O well 'tis the way it goes.. |
Thursday June 24 10:13:26 2021 Potential Sandra Bullock film |
The Lost City of D will center around "A reclusive romance novelist on a book tour with her cover model gets swept up in kidnapping attempt that lands them them both in a cutthroat jungle adventure." Bullock seems to be the novelist, while sadly our cover model will likely be Channing Tatum. Could turn out to be nothing, and we won't know until 2022, but worth keeping our eyes on |

No DiD scene in "Romancing the Stone", but action-romance novelist Kathleen Turner was tied suspended over a pit in the sequel "Jewel of the Nile" (1985). |

Thursday June 24 14:16:00 2021 scenes with interesting camera angles/choices |
one B&G scene that comes to mind for unique way of showing the damsel is the start of Dusk till Dawn the movie where you see the cut away of the Trunk with the damsel gagged in it. is there any other scenes that spring to mind with a similar interesting take on how the damsel is portrayed ? |

Every scene taking place in the villain's lair in the 1960's Batman series had a tilted camera angle. |

A little over an hour into this low budget horror movie, Sam (Jennifer Seward) is seen bound and gagged with an orange ballgag in the backseat of a car. It’s dark out but as the car passes under street lights, you get some decent views of her gagged. Later, she’s taken to an abandoned office and made to sit on the floor. Her hands are bound with black zip ties but her ankles aren’t. There are some intermittent closeups of her gagged during the next 10-15 minutes as the climax of the movie plays out. Her wrists are freed onscreen and she removes the ball gag herself and it’s left hanging around her neck for the rest of the scene. Movie is currently free to stream on the Tubi app. |

Likely airing on the East Coast by now. What's happened so far DID-wise, to those watching? |

Scene cuts to her being rolled on a cart, cleave gagged with black rope. She is thrown into a cage, where we get a few decent closeups before her captors undo her tape bindings and gag. She is in captivity for much of the episode, but doesn't get bound and gagged again. |

Disappoiting to hear she doesn't get tape-gagged :/ The show's prospects of survival look grim so far so unfortunately there goes Rebecca Breeds getting a duct tape gag for the time being, unless the show somehow gets renewed after all. |

Well since no one has discussed this yet...the action starts around the 1 hour & 29 minute mark. Lesa is with her friend and goes into the house to check on her, sees her unconscious at the top of the stairs. Baddie comes up behind & clonks her on the head, knocking her out. Cut to commercial. After commercial, Lesa wakes up tied to a chair & tape gagged (yes, silver tape). Remains like that a minute or so with a few nice closeups. Baddie ungags her and they talk for a minute or so, then she tricks him into untying her, at which point she grabs a fireplace poker to defend herself & the baddie runs off. |
