Rope cleave is an odd choice - Rebecca wears it beautifully mind - but why not a duct tape gag or wraparound? Unique stylistic choice, maybe they just thought it's "edgy" and looks cool. Shame she wasn't kept restrained for longer and other damsels weren't included with her. Good she got something though. |

Good she got something though. This is the mystery of the DID process that is so strange. You tape her up but then stop and use rope as a gag that wasn't used to tie her up? You'd think just slapping a piece of tape on her mouth would be fast and easier for the process. |
Friday June 25 07:27:27 2021 Re: Clarice S01E13 Official Still |
I've never understood the logic of not using tape as a gag when it's used as a restraint, what's the point? |

It's pretty simple. Some actresses just don't want tape over their mouths, even if it has a "protective" strip on the sticky side. Plus, tape gags can be a nightmare for the makeup department, especially in shows like this with a tight budget and even tighter filming schedules. Cleave gags are a huge time saver. I'm sure they were aware that the show's ratings plummeted, so the wanted to film the season finale as quickly as possible. |

It's far more violent than the movie, though I must admit while watching the movie I was disappointed she didn't get gagged. |

You'd think Rebecca would find a single strip tapegag more comfortable than rope tightly wound under her teeth a few times lol. She's a trooper and we really appreciate it. Shame she only got one season. |

in the tubi movie Kruel (2014) the damsel Kierney Nelson is cloro, kidnapped and tied up towards the end of the movie. She is not gagged but her bonds are an intricate work of red ropes or bungie cord. |

Friday June 25 09:49:01 2021 The Suicide Squad |
Well good news! I just saw a facebook ad for the new Suicde Squad and they have a brief snippet of Harley Quinn bound arms over head. The movie itself seems to introduce her character from a rescue mission but never saw any indication she would be bound. Something to look forward to in August. |

Duct tape has ruled the roost of TV bondage scene gags for three decades. Duct tape is better than no gag, but any other type of gag is a refreshing change from duct tape. |

But I did find an extensive review online and looks like nothing happened, which ends AMD's run of three FTs in her last 4 movies. But 3 of 5 ain't bad. I will lookout for this when it hits the Lifetime networks to confirm nothing happened to other players. In the typical Lifetime finish, AMD figures out the killer and he corners her. He decides to force her to overdose and make it look like a suicide. She asks if she can leave a suicide note before taking the pills. Being a considerate killer, he agrees. She then uses the extra time to belt him or something and she escapes. Dobbins has a couple more movies coming out soon, with one with Jessica Morris (who needs a FT scene in the worst way) that has the usual Lifetime premise. The other one looks to have no hope. |

Stop the speculation about the reason for directorial decisions. This is non-productive and no one has any real information about this specific show. Anything further will be removed. |

It's not actually duct tape but the silver or black gaffer's/Gaffa tape used in large quantities, mainly to tape down cables, on every film/TV set and therefore readily to hand (which is the real reason why it's so popular. It has a matt finish so it doesn't create light reflectinos. The black rope in her mouth looks like the type used for securing lighting stands, scenery flats etc.so also avaialble around most sets. |

Did she receive any type of treatment in the movie? It is a mob based movie. It is on demand she seems to be a target for a potential kidnapping. |

It makes you wonder how much actual duct tape is used in some film/TV productions. Silver tape is the main color used most of the time and although identical to regular duct tape tends to have a noticably smoother surface. It comes off more easily as well, which no doubt makes it preferable to duct tape when it comes to re-gagging/ungagging in-between takes. |

The other one looks to have no hope. Marvista Entertainment just updated their website with their next batch of thrillers including the Jessica Morris / Anna Marie Dobbins project "Paralyzed by Danger." Just posters and plot synopses so far, trailers should start popping up in the coming days/weeks. |

In Rebecca Breeds' case, it's definitely actual duct tape: https://i.imgur.com/E50Q6om.jpg |

Friday June 25 22:59:23 2021 OOMPH! |
going back to the experts in the group...I personally like when a damsel is gagged so tight (usually with a cleave gag) that they let out some sort of OOMPH! one of the best examples is Joanna Lumley in Class Act episode. Any other notable OOMPH! examples out there. |

The Dobbins movie appears to have Jessica Morris in danger as Anna Marie may be the villain but who knows. Maybe they'll both get a scene when the bad guy double crosses Dobbins. |

I’m not sure if this has been reported but this movie featuring Anna Marie Dobbins has at least one full treatment scene. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt4600982/?ref_=m_nmfmd_act_5 |
