Schull was IDed in the IMDb as playing one of the kidnappers ... and Koon is now pegged as the kidnappee. Seems like the preponderance of evidence is on the entry being correct. If you're looking for being certain beyond a reasonable doubt, why not ask at Discussion for the supplier of the contradictory info to supply his source for Schull being the bindee? |

Monday September 22 15:05:10 2003 CAPTIVE |
Title: Captive (1980)
Medium: Movie Actress: Sarah Venable Description: Low, low budget mess includes the roller-skate skinny Ms. Venable with her wrists bound in front with red plastic cord for much of this opus' length. ------------------------------------------ According to the IMDB, (which also lists it's name as (TWO, the name I first saw it under) this movie was made in 1974, and the DiD name is spelled Sara, not Sarah. As I recall, she is not bound throughout the movie as is indicated, but only in two scenes. In the first scene, her hands are tied in front with red plastic cord, and secured to a steering wheel as her captor leaves to go searching for a hide-out. She escapes the car, and is seen running with her hands still tied in front. She is re-captured, and the next morning, she is woken up by a tape recording of a loud train, her hands still bound by the red wire. I think she may secured to the bed, but I am not sure. As for it being a low budget mess, I disagree. While not the best story, it is intriging and interesting. |

The movie pops up now and then ... I'll try to remember to check for her next time I see it scheduled. |

What is the role of Unknown?
Additional Actress: Julie Payne (Mother Superior) Description: On the first 15 minutes: Barbara Dahl was captured, and chained (upper spreadeagle) in the dungeon. Gen. Rancor send the video to the President and Steele. On the cover of the video, there is a picture of her strapped to the rocket (the actual scene DID NOT happen yet!) Approx. 30 minutes before the end: The daughter of the professor (Nicollete Sheridan) was kidnapped by the villain on a dark alley. She was taken hostage inside a hospital/monastery, strapped arm on her side to a bed, and drugged. Steele (dressed as nun) try to rescue her by pushing the bed. Mother Superior try to stop them but Steele pushed the bed to pin her to the wall. Steele wrapped blood pressure cuff around her mouth, and pumped it, until her eyes popped out (similar to Mask, see link). Approx. 15 minutes before the end: Barbara Dahl on dungeon scene again. She was taken to the rocket and strapped (upper spreadeagle) to the rocket. General Rancor lock the strap using remote control. Lots of struggling. She was rescued by Steele and she beat the bad guys. No gag. Guy alert. http://www.screenit.com/movies/1996/spy_hard.html |
