Record number: 11784 Title: King Kong (2005) Medium: Movie Actress: Naomi Watts, unknown Description: It is Naomi Watts' turn to play Ann Darrow and be abducted by the natives of Skull Island to be offered as a sacrifice to the mighty ape. Just over an hour in she's shown bound at the wrists with vines to two vertical posts as in both previous versions (DB# 616 and 1173). The difference this time is that the posts are on the end of a long ladder-like strut that is pivoted forward across a large ditch to rest on a platform on the jungle side of the wall. Thus, she is fully suspended by her wrists as the strut swings down. Kong grabs her and the vines are ripped from the frame without injury to the arms of the lovely damsel. Then at about two and a half hours, the scene is re-enacted in a theater production with another white-dress clad damsel (who is not Darrow and is played by someone other than Watts, as the dialogue makes clear) tied between two posts on a platform that rises up from beneath the stage before a chained Kong, who takes umbrage at the impostor's presence. After freeing himself, he breaks the posts and flings the stand-in to her death upon realizing she isn't Darrow. The IMDb credits Julia Walshaw, Luanne Gordon, and Lorraine Ashboune as "theater actors" in the cast. |

While on the quest, Allison (who has the appearance of an elf) has to face her deepest fear, which is to be back in a mental institution. At approx. 44 minutes into the episode (including commercials), that is where she finds herself. As her two male companions are restrained in straitjackets, she finds herself strapped down on a table for some electro-shock treatments. She is no longer wearing her elf costume, as she is now in a hospital gown and showing off her legs as she struggles. An archer shows up in the game to shoot the doctor, which gives Allison time to escape the table. Having vanquished him, she is once again back in her elf costume. |

Jane Curtin is sitting while Kristen Johnson stand up and struggle to free themselves. Other are added to the list of the captured, including August (Astar) and Dr. Draper (Getz). No gags. The scene is marred by a bunch of guys and John Lithgow is gagged for virtually the entire episode. |

The regent, "Theodora", is sitting in a chair, wrists tied to the armrests as a cursed doorknob from an infamous fire is used to burn her hands. As Sally tires of playing with the regent, she leaves the doorknob in her hands long enough for Theodora to burst into flames, and incinerates her. Sally doesn't get to savor the murder for long, as the warehouse agents soon arrest her for stealing the doorknob in the first place. By 7 minutes in (including commercials), Sally is know tied to a chair in the warehouse, hands duct taped behind her back. Her captors don't know that Theodora has been murdered, and decide to try to torture the information out of her with another enchanted object. Over the course of the episode, Sally (Ashley) manages to cut the duct tape on her wrists with the diamond in her engagement ring, clobber the warehouse agents with a chair and escape. |
