Anyway, having expressed a fondness for the old movie serials, they leave Lois, attired in a blue outfit, nylons and heels (and pearls, but of course), roped to the railroad tracks and overgagged with light blue cloth. The train approaches, Lois struggles, Superman races against time ... Whew! Nick of, and all's well. Well, except Jimmy's barreling down a winding mountain road with his brakes cut. Holy cliché! (Oops ... wrong color tights.) The action begins around the 18' mark, and lasts about three minutes, with a break to save Perry White from a buzzsaw. |

She gets abducted by the baddies for her trouble and winds up in the criminals' hideout as they are preparing to rob an armored car. Miss Lansing stands, face to camera, while one of the henchmen ties her hands behind her back by means of a length of brown cord. She is then driven out to the bridge, and is led out of the car with her hands tied behind her. She waits with the gang leader as the bridge is wired with explosives, then is marched to the railing of the bridge. They lash her wrists together in front and tie them to the railing, leaving her ungagged and struggling as the bomb's fuse burns down. Superman arrives to save her in the nick of time. |

She is murdered (there's nothing gratuitously explicit, luckily), Heather goes undercover to investigate, has her cover blown, and gets handgagged and taken to a warehouse. She's bound hand (behind) and foot, and cleavegagged with black cloth. The climactic scene involves a cobra and a buildup of dramatic tension, ending in Hooker's arrival in the nick of time. Ms. Locklear's wearing a short pink knit dress. |

Now the bad guys have the spray and embark on a crime spree. Lois, Jimmy, Perry White, the Professor and Clark Kent are all captured and tied to chairs with their hands behind their backs; Lois is front and center in the tableau. The bad guys create a poison gas bomb to dispose of the five captives and Clark has to reveal his secret identity to enable them to escape, but he retrieves the anti-memory spray and uses it on all concerned so his secret is safe for further adventures. |
