Well, she is mistaken for a babysitter and is left with several kids. After failing to stop the mother, Lucille reenters the house and is lassoed by the kid cowboys. As the real babysitter arrive, you can hear Lucille screaming. As the sitter finds them, Ms. Ball is shown tied to a post of the bunk bed and the kids actually set a fire to burn her at the stake. This occurs about 20 minutes into the episode. Lucille Ball hides in a show girl's dressing room behind a three-section divider. When the show girl walks in, 'Lucy' wraps the divider around her and pins her to the floor by sitting on top of the divider. The show girl opens wide to scream and 'Lucy' jams a powdering pad into her mouth and secures the stuffing with scarves. Then secures her inside the divider with various garments. |

Record number: 1963 Title: The Gazebo (1959) Medium: Movie Actress: Debbie Reynolds Description: About an hour and 25 minutes in, Reynolds is grabbed by a couple of mobsters looking for a blackmailer's money-and his body, since they know her husband (Glenn Ford) did him in, albeit accidentally. She's shown ungagged and sitting tied by the ankles to a chair, holding her hands behind her as if they're bound as well (as indeed they are, though loosely-the rope isn't visible until later), as the hoods threaten her with torture if she doesn't tell them where the money is (she doesn't know). After they hear the new gazebo in her back yard collapse, the mobsters get a clue as to their friend's final resting place and go outside. Reynolds, still tied to the chair, hops her way over to a phone on a table and then uses her mouth to try to dial police (it's an old rotary dial phone). The phone falls off the table so she works her way down onto the floor, still tied to the chair, to continue to try to dial. The mobsters return, tip her chair over on the side, rip the phone out of the wall, then leave after finding what they came for. Her husband comes home to find her that way, leading to another humorous sequence in which she gets up and starts walking around with her ankles still roped to the chair. |

Record number: 19362 Title: Bad Blood (2014) Medium: Movie Actress: Jessica Gardner, Carly Chaikin, Taylor Cole Description: This Lifetime feature opens with Nicole (Gardner) strapped to a chair and cleave gagged with a white cloth, in a trailer set up for medical procedures. Her husband (a crazed serial killer) comes in with some tea, then proceeds to drain her blood. A muffled squeal from her ends the scene (and unfortunately her life) at 3mins without commercials. At 21mins, Lauren (Cole) is arrested on suspicion of several murders. Her hands are cuffed behind her back onscreen and she is led away to a police station. After they are done questioning her and charges are laid, she is taken to a cruiser (now wearing an orange jumpsuit) with her hands cuffed again at 26mins. The ride to jail goes smoothly until the killer strikes again: he sets up a road block and spike strip to cause the car to leave the road. A terrified Lauren, still cuffed in the back seat, can only watch as he approaches the car and blasts the lone female officer with a shotgun. He then injects Lauren with a sedative to end the sequence at 28mins. Immediately afterwards, she awakens in a house in the wilderness. Multiple close-ups reveal that she is sitting on a chair, hands securely cuffed behind her to the backrest, feet tied to the chair legs with black rope, and very tightly cleave gagged with a dark red bandanna (so tight that her teeth are clenched over it). The chair is also chained to a closet. After a while he slowly ungags her, with some drool visible on the cloth as he leaves it around her neck. She is bemused at his crazy reasons for kidnapping her and tries to scream, so he re-gags her onscreen. Some gag-talk and lots of desperate mmpphhing from the helpless captive. She is left alone to struggle at 33-34mins, and we are indeed treated to an excellent struggle. It takes some furious effort and muffled grunting (with strained expressions aplenty over the gag), but she eventually manages to break the backrest and slip the cuffs under her butt. The untying of her feet is shown, but not when she ungags herself. When the killer returns, she uses a spade (hands still cuffed in front) to knock him out, steal his keys and make a break for it. Once out in the woods, she unlocks the cuffs and tosses them away to finally end her scene at 36mins. At 51-52mins, Frances (Chaikin) finds herself bound to the same chair as Nicole; her hands are tied to the armrests with white rope, feet strapped together, and she is cleave gagged with a thin white cloth. The killer starts to draw her blood at 59mins, but not enough at this point to kill her. Thanks to a long search (and being on the run), Lauren discovers her at 1hr 9mins. She is barely conscious, but comes around when Lauren ungags and begins to untie her. Unfortunately the killer was waiting for her, and he sprays both of them with a knockout gas. When Lauren wakes up, she has been rendered even more helpless than before: lying face down and strapped full spreadeagle to an operating table, she is also cleave gagged with a thin white cloth and a wide strip of duct tape over that. Her struggles (and mmpphhing) prove utterly futile as the killer cuts open the back of her shirt in preparation for a nasty procedure to drain her spinal fluid. In the background, Frances is still bound to the chair and has been re-gagged. Just as things begin to look very grim for Lauren, police officer Tommy (Christine Adams) shoots her way in. Frances then ungags and unties Lauren at 1hr 13mins. |
