Record number: 13620 Title: 88 Minutes (2007) Medium: Movie Actress: Vicky Huang, Tammy Hui, Kristina Copeland, Leah Cairns, Alicia Witt, Deborah Kara Unger Description: In this good suspense thriller about a college professor played by Al Pacino, nothing less) who, while moonlighting as a forensic psychiatrist for the FBI, receives a death threat telling him that he has only 88 minutes to live. In the open minutes, an Asian gal, Joanie Cates (Vicky Huang), is shown strung upside down in her living room from the ceiling. She is not gagged. She is chloroformed so the perp can cut her. Her sister Janie (Tammy Hui) enters and ends upside down also. Short scene and only ropes are shown on the first gal. Her sister had been in bed and was wearing a mask over her eyes at the time. About 9 minutes into the movie there is a crime scene where a dead girl (Kristina Copeland) is dangling by one leg from the ceiling. There are flashbacks to both of the above scenes shown at about 70 minutes into the movie. At 75 minutes Pacino and Witt enter an apartment to find another dead girl (Leah Cairns) dangling from the ceiling by one leg, dead. Closing in on when the time (and the movie) is almost up, he's cited to meet at a university building by his assistant Kim Cummings, played by Alicia Witt. There, he finds Kim very well tied to a chair with lots of black rope, and gagged with a pale green rolled-up cloth between her lips, which is held in place with more black rope; like an improvised bit gag. There is also drool evident on the top and lower part of the gag. She spends a lot of time lke this, while Pacino talks with the serial killer that put her in this situation, and Dean Carol Johnson (Deborah Kara Unger) hangs from the ceiling, tied but not gagged, as the killer intends to make her the next victim. Scene begins right at the 1:30:00 mark I recommend this movie both for its quality as for this bondage scene. |

Record number: 14328 Title: Held Hostage (2009) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Julie Benz, Natasha Calis, Michelle Harrison Description: Fact-based saga of a bank manager (Benz) and her young daughter (Calis) taken captive in a home invasion by a gang plotting to force her to rob her workplace. Beginning at about 10mins in and continuing for the next 20mins, both are shown getting bound hand and foot onscreen with duct tape; a rolled up sock is stuffed partially into Benz's mouth, to much mmpphhing. Benz spends most of her screen time in the living room, sat in submissive silence on a chair with her hands taped together behind it and feet taped to the chair legs. Calis is in her bedroom, wide-eyed and terrified, lying on a bed with her hands taped in front and feet taped. At some point, Benz is ungagged for some lengthy dialogue with her exceptionally creepy and psychotic captor. She later starts to scream out for Calis, prompting him to re-gag her with a sloppily applied piece of duct tape; lots of angry mmpphhing when he does so. Again, she is soon ungagged when she agrees to behave. After about 7mins, Calis is brought back into the living room and sat on a couch, still bound and gagged. Benz pleads to be untied, then goes over to untie Calis herself. All of this takes place at night, so the lighting is somewhat dim. When daylight breaks, Benz is forced to have a shower, then get dressed in her black business outfit (consisting of a coat and skirt). Before she can put on her pink shirt, however, a bomb is duct taped to her back below her breasts (giving us a nice view of her tan-coloured bra), as well as a listening device. Upon returning to the living room, Calis is again shown bound and gagged as before, but now with a bomb taped to her chest as well. Benz gives her a hug and a kiss before then being taken on a trip to the bank. Whilst in a quiet backroom at the bank, she gives her brunette co-worker Harrison two separate handgags so as to warn her about the situation. At the end of the scene, Benz returns home to discover Calis having been left bound and gagged in a closet. She carefully peels off the bomb, places it on the floor, after which both run outdoors to get help. Before the bank sequences, Benz wears a green shirt and dark blue slacks. Calis wears pink pyjamas and slippers throughout the entire scene, and mmpphhs constantly whenever shown. |
