Jennie Linden's boyfriend is hypnotized by the Count. He approaches her menacingly, and seems to administer something like a Vulcan nerve pinch. She awakens slung over his shoulder, tied at wrists and ankles, cleave-gagged with a scarf over a wad of cloth. He dumps her in his kitchen dumbwaiter (doesn't everyone have one of those?), and sends her down in it, as he entertains the Count's next victim. Said victim presses a button, causing the dumbwaiter to rise, revealing the squirming, mmpphh-ing Jennie to us, but not to her. Boyfriend panicks and hits switch again; back down goes Jennie. Later, she frees herself (nice shot as she pulls gag out), and runs straight into the arms of the Count (David Niven). Tied to a pole in his hideout, Jennie's subject to the lustful attentions of vamp Teresa Graves. She pretends to respond; after Teresa frees her, Jennie cold-cocks her. She goes for the phone, but is found by the Count and hand-gagged (never knew David Niven had such big hands-- her face just disappears!). She's tied to the pole again; after she squawks a bit, the Count stuffs a handkerchief in her mouth. |

Record number: 1006 Title: Rentadick (1972) Medium: Movie Actress: Unknown Description: Silly UK film in the Python style -- not too surprising, since John Cleese and Graham Chapman contributed to the screenplay. Early in the movie there is a good scene, but short. A Middle-Eastern type gentleman is greeted by a guy who says he has something for him. They pull in a covered clothes rack, much like those racks they push around New York streets. Pull off the cover and, voila! Five lovely ladies in skimpy chorus-girl type costumes, tied arms above them and each cloth-gagged. They are obviously on their way to the shiek's harem. A brief scene follows as a whip is waved around in front of them and comments are made about breast size, etc. "This one's Miss Black Pudding 1965, smile Deirdre." After this scene, we never see the bevy of beautites again, unfortunately. Later on, a female harem girl is seen [briefly] bound and gagged to a post. |

Record number: 19729 Title: The Bride He Bought Online (2015) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Anne Winters, Annalisa Cochrane, Lauren Gaw Description: In this Lifetime TV movie, lonely nerd John seeks revenge by kidnapping three high-school girls who played a prank on him and posted his humiliation on social media. The opening scene shows one of the girls (probably Lauren Gaw) in his car trunk, struggling and mmmphing, with closeups of her duct-taped mouth and ankles and zip-tied hands. Then we jump back in time. Starting around 52 minutes in (with commercials), John captures the girls separately. Timid Mandy (Lauren Gaw) is knocked out with a blow to the head, bitchy ringleader Kaylie (Annalisa Cochrane) is grabbed in her house at gunpoint, and we only see him sneaking up behind our relatively level-headed narrator Avery (Anne Winters). All three girls are wearing modest street clothes. We see each of them gagged with tape, with a few good closeups of Mandy and Avery, though the gags are all removed fairly quickly once the girls arrive at John's hideout. The girls spend much of the second hour ungagged, with their hands bound with plastic ties and further secured to support posts with steel cables. Mandy's and Kaylie's hands are behind their backs, while Avery's hands are initially in front. John's plan is to sell all three girls into foreign slavery, but he only manages to hand over Kaylie (who in a dark twist is never seen again) before the deal goes south. Mandy and Avery are returned to the hideout, where Avery manages to attack John with a broken bottle, but he overpowers her and reties her with her hands behind her back. Eventually, both girls manage to take advantage of a fatal dispute between John and his prostitute confidant to make their escape. |
