Record number: 12979 Title: Final Approach (2008) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Judith Hoag, Stacy Haiduk Description: 3 hour telemovie is basically Die Hard on a plane - but includes some excellent double DID action. Cast includes a number of ex-super heroes & heroines including ex-Superman Dean Cain and damsels Judith Hoag (April O'Neil) and Stacy Haiduk (Lana Lang) - who play the wives of two executives kidnapped to blackmail their husbands (who are on board the plane). Both ladies are now in their late 30's but still looking good. Action starts within the first 3 mins - Judith is pulled from her car in the driveway of her house and shoved into the back of a van. She is wearing dark Jeans, green T-shirt & cardigan and black low heeled ankle boots. No bondage Around the 5 min mark the van pulls up at a remote location and Judith emerges from the van - she is now bound hands behind and gagged - both with silver duct tape. She is led into the house and her captor is instructed to "take her upstairs and wrap her tight". She is then thrown onto her back on a matress on the floor of an upstairs bedroom and her ankles are bound with duct tape on screen while she struggles. Good close ups of her gagged face. Around the 16 min mark, Stacy is attacked in her home by a kidnapper - some struggling and wrestling (no bondage). Stacy is wearing a dark blue tracksuit and white flat heeled casual shoes (like trainers). Around the 24 min mark, Close ups of Judith laying on her back on the matress, she hears gag noises and squirms across the floor to a small grate - from where she sees Stacy crying into her gag in the next room. Some close ups of Stacy's face but partially osbscured as these are viewed through the vent from Judith's perspective. Judith then squirms over to a sharp edge on a wall on works off the wrist bonds, ungags herself and unwraps her ankles on-screen. Around the 36 min mark, Judith picks the lock on her door with a coat hanger and opens the door of Stacy's room - a brief wide angle shot of Stacy on the floor looking upwards - the only unobscured shot of Stacy getting the full treatment. Aound the 43 min mark the ladies make their way downstairs to escape but are discovered Around the 49 min mark both ladies are now bound and seated together on a downstairs sofa - hands behind and ankles together with duct tape - but no gags and no shots of their bonds. One or two later shots of them but still no view of their bonds. Around the 74 min mark, the captors leave the room and there are several wider angle shots which show their bound ankles. Stacy begins to work on freeing Judith's wrists Shortly thereafter the ladies are next seen running through the woods in a second escape attempt - but are quickly caught Aound the 100 min mark, the FBI storm the house and free the damsels - only a brief shot of Judith looking around when she hears the commotion - again laying on her back on the matress in the upstairs bedroom B&G with duct tape as before. No more shots of Stacy B&G. |

Just under two hours in with commercials (or at the end of Part 1 if both parts aren't being shown together), client/love interest Doody has a few really good hand gags as she's taken captive by Russian agents after the treasure. For most of the next twenty minutes she's shown off and on being marched through the desert with her hands bound together in front. There's only one close-up of her bound wrists (when she reaches for a canteen when they stop at an oasis) and she is never gagged but there are a few decently framed shots. She wears a puffy white blouse, long skirt and boots as per the period depicted. |

Record number: 11379 Title: The Fallen Ones (2005) Medium: Movie Actress: Kristen Miller Description: About 1 hour and 15 minutes into the 2 hour movie, we see Miller's character lying on a slab wearing a purple sleeveless dress tied with her wrists over her head. She awakens and struggles a bit before the short scene cuts off. Later we again see Miller passed out tied on the slab as a ghost approaches her. She awakens again, struggles, and screams. After another cut-away, we see the villain sit next to her as she remains tied on the slab. The villain starts rubbing her arms and face as she struggles, and finally kisses her forcefully. In the final scene, Miller is again passed out on the slab while the villain's henchmen fight the male protagonists. In the middle of the fight, we see some shots of Miller's face and ample chest. The villain then removes her bonds. Overall, a good series of horizontal shots of Miller wearing the low cut sleeveless dress which shows a good amount of leg. No gag and her feet are not tied. |

Surprisingly, there's less emphasis on the bondage than one might expect three decades later, even though this film wasn't made for theatrical release. Near the end, Perry Smith (Eric Roberts) pulls his partner Dick Hickock (Anthony Edwards) off Nancy Mae Clutter (Finley) after bursting into her bedroom just as Hickock was about to rape her. He's shown tying Nancy's wrists together behind her as she lies in bed, but his hogtying her is largely only implied. Nancy is never gagged, but her mother Bonnie (Barber) is shown later in a tight face shot, tape-gagged, reacting to the gunshots as the killers do away with the rest of her family, then come for her. |

The hero cuts her down (after one excellent shot of her tied hands), but she falls into the arms of the killer, who has been waiting in the shadows. The climactic three-way struggle ensues, during which mom (with her hands still tied in front) gets hold of an ice pick and disables the killer just long enough for her son to finish the job. The scene lasts just over a minute. Unfortunately, it's shot in a dark basement, so you might need to crank up the brightness. |

Then at the film's climax, his client (Eleniak) is shown strapped to the same rack in a business suit. When her televangelist boss arrives to save her, she morphs into another vampire chick (played by Angie Everhart). After the vamp is defeated, Miller shows up to find Erika hidden under the rack with a hankerchief stuffed in her mouth and her wrists bound in front. The gag scene is very short-blink and you miss it. |

Seated in a chair, a groggy Patricia then finds her wrists being taped in front of her, with a smaller piece applied as a gag. Several brief scenes over the next couple of minutes before villainess Erika pushes her victim into another room, placing her on the floor before applying tape to her ankles. Our heroine eventually self-administers an antidote, frees herself, and saves her husband and the day. Her DiD costuming consists of Early Soccer Mom blouse and pants. |
