About 15 minutes from the end Field is shown gagged with wide black tape and bound to a straight backed wooden chair. At first it appears her wrists are secured to the chair back with white adhesive tape, but later the bonds appear to be ropes. It's unclear whether this is a continuity error or the result of poor photography at the beginning of the sequence. The killer briefly removes the gag so Field can talk on the phone to her character's husband; it's replaced by the time the cops come to the rescue. Lots of nice moaning through the gag. |

Her hands are under her back, and she is blindfolded while wearing a tape gag. As the one detective chases after a guy, the back detective searches under some boxes as he hears someone moaning. He finds the daughter (Valentina DeAngelis) lying there, and she is blindfolded and gagged also. |

He has discovered some rings set in a wall beside the river and we get - in very brief and rather indistinct flashback - the scene of the woman's bare feet being attached to the rings, after which the killer forces her head in under the water until she drowns. Pretty graphic and unpleasant, unfortunately. |

| Title: Pony Soldier (1952) Medium: Movie Actress: Penny Edwards Description: Emerald Neeley (Ms. Edwards) is captured by Crees, along with a man. Around the 25' mark (in the AMC airing I saw), she's shown being freed by hero Tyrone Power. She's inside a tent at the camp. The scene is very brief. She's bitgagged, and Power is just cutting her wrist bonds behind her back when the cut is made to the tent. She removes the gag, and that's pretty much it. Later, about 70' in, recalcitrant members of the Cree nation grab her again and whisk her off. We see her again bitgagged (appearing to be made of leather, secured by thongs or cords wrapped around the ends) and bound wrists behind. After a long march, they bind her ankles over her flowing skirt, and build a fire to immolate her. Power, a Cree chief, and a Cree boy save the day. This scene runs about six minutes. |

| Title: Red Water (2003) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Kristy Swanson Description: In this rather decent TBS Original thriller about oil riggers and treasure looters terrorized by a bull shark in the Mississippi River, the beautiful (and original Buffy)Kristy Swanson is seen about halfway in the movie bound by the wrists and ankles with drenched rope. No gag, and guy alert. In fact, three guys, also bound at the ankles and wrists with rope. They are all tied in the bridge of a riverboat. One of the film's villains, a treasure looter, then comes to bring Kristy away from the other hostages, cuts her ropes, and brings her into another room on the boat. When he begins to have some fun with her, the film's hero, Lou Diamond Phillips, comes to try and save the day. He fails, leading to later on in the next scene when the treasure looters decide to use the male hostages to retrieve their ,000,000 while the shark swims in the water. We see Kristy with her back to the camera showing that her wrists and elbows have been tied together with the same kind of rope, and also has a noose around her neck. Having high hopes she is gagged, she turns around, and IS NOT. Dammit. But hey, it is the gorgeous Ms. Kristy Swanson. |

| Title: High Crimes (2002) Medium: Movie Actress: Ashley Judd, Amanda Peet Description: Around the 50' mark (with ads), there's a brief shot of Amanda Peet tapegagged during a home invasion. Scene lasts only a few seconds. I couldn't tell how she was tied (the intruder may have been disturbed before he had time to secure her). About nine minutes from the end, the real killer ( I won't give away the twist) grabs Ashley Judd, firmly clamps his hand over her mouth, and drags her into the house. He then ties her arms behind her back and hogties her. The hogtie is not tight (her knees not bent much), more incidental as the same length of (telephone?) cord used to tie her wrists behind is also used for her ankles. She is able to roll off the couch where she was tied and across the floor towards a gun that was dropped during the final fight. She manages to work her hands free just in time to get the gun and save herself. The scene is dark and the cuts are quick. She's wearing a bathrobe and white socks. |

When we come back from commercial, she is not bound and are not shown her being untied. When they camp later that night, he then rebinds her hands behind her back. She manages to unbind herself and starts to get away. She is recaptured and has her hands bound behind her for the third time. They arrive at a cabin the next morning while she is still bound. She is unbound shortly and locked in the cabin. Everything ends before the 55 min mark. No gags while she is bound. She is briefly handgagged at the 70 minute mark. She is briefly handcuffed by the US Marshals in the last 5 min., but we only see her from the front. All time are with commercials. |
