In the picture's opening sequense, the Victim (Palfrey) has her wrists chained overhead to a stake. After a desperate struggle, the Victim slips out of the manacles (the bloody wounds on her wrist are frightenly realistic) and flees, but Vermithrax Pejorative (that's the dragon) tracks her down and turns her into a crispy critter (off screen). Near the end of the movie, Princess Elspeth (Salaman) volunteers to be the next dragon-victim. Her wrists are chained overhead to a stake; she passively awaits her doom. When the hero (Peter McNichol) comes to her rescue and slices her chains, she walks into the dragon's lair and is slain by baby dragons (off screen, thank goodness). |

Record number: 2018 Title: The Professionals (1966) Medium: Movie Actress: Claudia Cardinale Description: In this Western set in the early 20th century, a Texas oilman hires four adventurers to rescue his wife, whom he claims has been kidnapped by a Mexican bandito. She, however, doesn't want to be rescued but since the adventurers are professionals, they're honor bound to complete the contract, no matter what the cost. About an hour and fifteen minutes in, they attack the bandito's camp and spirit her away into the night, Burt Lancaster lifting her over his shoulder into a railcar and then tying her hands behind her back. The scene then cuts to the next morning, where they rendezvous with a compatriot on a train that, unbeknownst to them, has been captured by the bandits. After another furious gunfight which follows Lancaster using Cardinale, her hands still bound, as a human shield, she's carried over his shoulder into the locomotive where she's tied standing to the side of the cab. A few minutes later she's shown on horseback with her hands tied in front for a couple of shots. She isn't gagged during any of the scenes. |

At 90 minutes in (including commercials) he gets into her office, kills her friend and chloroforms Jennie. She wakes up in a warehouse and finds that her business clothes have been removed and she is now wearing a sexy white nightgown. She is sitting taped in a chair with her arms duct taped to her sides. Her wrists and ankles are not restrained, and she is not gagged. When the killer comes close to her, she manages to grab his balls, knocking over the chair and giving her a chance to escape while he writhes on the ground in pain. |

Record number: 9711 Title: Haute Tension (2003) aka Switchblade Romance aka High Tension Medium: Movie Actress: Maïwenn Le Besco; Cecile De France Description: Not long into the movie, Alex (Le Besco) is taken prisoner by the serial killer du jour, and it's up to Marie (De France) to save her. We first see Alex chained in a frontal hogtie on a bed, wearing an interesting gag that appears to be formed from a chain fed through plastic tubing. Marie finds her but can't unlock the chains or the gag, so it's off to the serial killer's van with Alex. Much struggling ensues, captured in nice close-ups. (In one scene, the killer douses her with bourbon and lights a match, and she's clearly not too happy about it.) At the very last scene of the film Cecile De France is seen handcuffed and chained to a bed in mental institution. |

The travel continues to 24' when she briefly manages to run away, but is quickly recaptured. At 37' Teri is briefly seen blindfolded and with hands tied behind. |
