Record number: 248 Title: The Outlaw (1943) Medium: Movie Actress: Jane Russell Description: Rio (Russell) gets her outstretched arms bound to two trees and cleave-gagged by Billy the Kid. She's bound with strips of wet rawhide in front of a pool of water and abandoned as vengance for filling Billy and Doc Holliday's canteens with sand. Sheriff Pat Garrett captures the thirsting Holliday and then hears Rio's mmmphing and unties her. Rio then pulls the gag from her mouth and leaves it hanging around her neck. The two men comment about Billy "paying off poetic" leaving her in front of the pool with the rawhide which will eventually dry and leave her hanging by her wrists. The sheriff surmises that Billy is really in love with Rio (much to Rio's surprise) and decides to use her as bait. She's then retied and gagged in a similar position to trap Billy. During the night Billy does return and walks up to the trussed damsel, tugs on her gag and comments to himself, "Hmm, I thought I tied it tighter than that." He pulls out the cloth, but gets jumped by the pistol toting Garrett. Rio is wearing a low cut white blouse which barely covers her famous lift-and-separated bazooms. |

At the 80' mark in another story "S is for Speed" a girl wearing a latex outfit in dragged with her hands tied in front with robe by another girl. She is then locked in a car trunk, 2 minutes later she gets out of there. |

The villain Owen Davian (Philip Seymour Hoffman) treats her with a gun to get important information from Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) whose also cuffed to a chair. The scene continues during the last 20 minutes. Owen shoots Julia, but suprise it was not her it was the incompetently female bodyguard of Owen with an - since Peter Graves succesfull time - typical Mission Impossible second face. Julia is still alive and kept at another place. Ethan is later just right at her real hideout where he finds her ... ah you guess right ... cuffed to a chair and gagged with silver tape. Davian rips off the tape fight against a few baddies and frees her finally. There is good mmpphing and struggling. One other short scene in this movie: at around the 17:00 mark, Keri Russell is tied to a wheelchair (arms taped to the arms of the chair). She's been beaten up a bit. Rescued by Mr. Cruise pretty quick. No gag. |

As part of the action, he finds the blonde poodle-skirt wearing ingenue strapped to a gurney, and gagged with a white cleave. He quickly releases her and they try to escape, but are recaptured by the mad scientist. At the end of the episode, both are strapped down to gurneys, no gags. Action beings approx. 23 minutes into the broadcast version, including commercials. Record number: 15701 Title: R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: The Series Medium: TV Series Actress: Emma Grabinsky, Sarah Dugdale Description: Episode: "Creature Feature" Part 2 (2.2) Part 2 returns to the lair of the 1950's mad scientist introduced in part 1. Emma is strapped down on a gurney as two real teenagers from the current day pop in. Sarah and her male companion soon join Emma and are strapped down on gurneys as two human-tick hybrids fight around them. Emma is wearing '50s style poodle skirt, sweater and saddle shoes. Sarah wears a more contemporary denim miniskirt. |

Her wrists are tied to the armrests and her feet are loosely tied together, with some good close-ups of her bound feet while she struggles to get loose, as well as some full-body views. Earlier, before she gets tied to the chair, Gomez's onscreen "twin" gives her a length handgag; a rare instance of an actress essentially handgagging herself, without actually putting her hand over her own mouth....if that makes sense. |

Record number: 1745 Title: Eagle's Wing (1979) Medium: Movie Actress: Caroline Langrishe Description: Judith (played cute blonde British actress Langrishe) is kidnapped by an Indian (Sam Waterston (!)) and led through the desert with her hands tied behind her back during a large part of the movie. A gag would have worked miracles but the noose around her neck (she's attached to his horse) still gives it a special look and the ropes are really thick! There's a nice tie-up scene when he leaves her to oppose a trapper who's following him. This British-made western stars Martin Sheen, of all people. The scenes in the movie are somewhat marred by the director's curious inattention to detail for the bondage scenes, when he's obviously careful to be accurate in other aspects of the film. For example, in shot from a distance, Langrishe, supposedly bound, brings her hands from behind her back, realizes her gaff and puts them back in place so that in the next scene her wrist can be tied on-screen. Later, Langrishe tries to escape and sprints across the desert with her wrists bound behind her back. She stops, winded, and simply brings her hands from behind her back to hold her head in her hands - and no rope bindings are ever visible. Still, the last scene makes up for the gaffs - Pike (Sheen), determined to possess the white stallion currently being ridden by White Bull, arrives in the Indian's camp and confronts the Indian, his horse and Judith, who is seated with her wrists tied behind her. Indian and horse beat a hasty and retreat and Judith, sunburned and thirsty begs him, "Please... help me." Pike, forced to choose between the woman and the horse, sprints off in pursuit of the Indian. |
