Record number: 2457 Title: Being John Malkovich (1999) Medium: Movie Actress: Cameron Diaz, Catherine Keener Description: Diaz plays the wife of a loser who discovers a portal into the head of John Malkovich, which is rented out by her husband's co-worker (Keener) with whom she also has an affair while inside the head of the aforementioned Malkovich. Confused? Anyhow, when her husband discovers the affair he binds, tape gags, and locks her in a cage. Excellent moans and mmpphhing offset the piss poor lighting, (not to mention that haircut!) She's bound and gagged off and on for about twenty five minutes in this one starting at the 01:08:00 mark. A short while later in the film (but about eight months later in the story), Keener's visibly pregnant character is shown sitting with her wrists tied in front after having been kidnapped. She manages to untie her hands and run off just as Diaz pulls a gun and squeezes off a couple of shots as she runs into the portal. |

Captured at gunpoint by Seagal, she is taken to a cellar and sits in a wooden chair, her wrists tied behind her back with white cord. The scene opens with a clear close up of her tied hands. Seagal interrogates her and when she refuses to co-operate, tries strangling with a white scarf. He is interrupted by the arrival of the bad guys and hides, leaving Pope in plain sight. The new arrivals also want information from Ms Pope and place a plastic bag over her head until she is gasping for breath. When she still refuses to talk, Seagal leaps to the rescue and Pope herself also gets in a couple of good kicks before her hands are freed and the two make their escape Action occurs around the 1 hour mark |

Record number: 15567 Title: Shadows In Paradise (2010) Medium: Movie Actress: Sofya Skya Description: B-movie about two awol soldiers, Max and Sasha (Skya) who are pursued by a group of mercenaries. At 16mins (DVD/Blu-ray edition), Skya is shown in a flashback where she's first locked in a cage unbound; then sat on a chair with her hands bound behind her back (not shown) & water tortured; then finally bound AOH to a tree. Sequence lasts a minute. At 33mins, Skya is led out of a foxhole at gunpoint. The gunman zipties her wrists together in front & orders her to march forward. Almost immediately she turns around & tries to kick the gun away, but ends up stumbling to the ground. Her boyfriend then shows up, surprising the gunman from behind & holds him at knifepoint. Skya picks up the latter's gun & points it at the now-defenceless gunman (still with her hands ziptied in front), but is discouraged from shooting him. To finish, boyfriend cuts her wrists loose with the knife. This whole sequence lasts 3mins. In the last half-hour, Sasha is captured by the mercenaries. She has her hands tied in front of her with a black zip-tie, and is taped-gagged with a strip of green duct tape. The rowdy Sasha is kept at gunpoint by a female mercenary who has to get rough and restrain her at several points, at one point even grabbing Sasha's hair and leading her around by her ponytail. After being lead at gunpoint through the woods, Sasha is loaded into a van (offscreen) and driven to a factory, where she is once again led around by the female mercenary for a bit. She is eventually rescued by Max near the end. Very cute damsel with a lot of struggling. VERY energetic scenes for her. |

She puts her hands up as a bad guy points a gun at her. She is next seen at 1hr 4mins, being viewed on a TV monitor by Nicolas Cage's character in a series of precognitive flashbacks: wearing jeans & a cute pink sleeveless top, she's seated in a wheelchair with her hands bound behind her back with a black ziptie, and her ankles spread and ziptied to the wheelchair, and she is gagged with a strip of grey duct tape. An intricate bomb setup is also strapped to her upper body. The flashbacks continue at 1hr 9mins, this time in full view with some close-ups. Later still, in a non-flashback sequence at 1hr 13mins, Biel is carried out of a van still in her aforementioned wheelchair predicament. We're now treated to some great close-ups as she struggles, looks around with a wide-eyed expression & mmpphhs slightly. All scenes of her bound & gagged are then over at 1hr 14mins. No release shown. However, she isn't out of trouble yet, as she is immediately shown being led into another van (or the same one as before......who knows?) completely unbound but still with the bomb strapped to her. After the van crashes in a chase/shootout, she escapes into a warehouse. At 1hr 18mins, after some sneaking around in the darkness, the same bad guy as before handgags her tightly in a very quick sequence; but she does manage to let out a nice mmpphh. After an armed stand-off, Biel is finally released unharmed at 1hr 25mins.. |

Record number: 324 Title: The Avengers (1961) Medium: TV Series Actress: Diana Rigg Description: Episode: "The Bird Who Knew Too Much" (5.5) Emma is surprised by two thugs, and chloroformed (slumping nicely into her captor's clutches). She is dragged to a chair, and tied to it, hands in front. A large cloth gag is tied over her mouth (and about half her face), all while she's unconscious. A gun is rigged to shoot her if the door is opened to rescue her; the bad guy tying her props her head up against the back of the chair as he leaves. When she awakens, and realizes her danger, her struggling is unconvincing, since the bondage isn't terribly secure, but we do get to watch her plight for several minutes, until Steed comes through the window to rescue her. Not Dame Diana's most stringent role, but her casual manhandling by her captors is rather sexy. Wearing a blue cloth catsuit. Chloroformed at about 28 minutes then tied to the chair with thin white rope, the gag is black. Seen again at 30 minutes and rescued at 32 minutes (in a 50 minute broadcast slot without adverts). Faux gag fans may appreciate the "suitable for open-car motoring" outfit she chooses when she leaves at the end, with a white dust-mask covering her lower face, topped with a clear visor. |

Feet tied as well and rope around our damsel's stomach, securing her nicely to the chair. Much taunting by her captors, including two instances where our damsel is grabbed by the head and her hair teasingly tussled. Ms. Eilbacher seems genuinely helpless throughout her ordeal, which seems to be hours in terms of the movie timeline. Finally rescued, but is gagged while being untied. Total screentime about 2 minutes. |
