Record number: 3550 Title: Adventures of Superman (1952) Medium: TV Series Actress: Noel Neill Description: Episode: "The Jolly Roger" (4.13) Lois, Clark and Jimmy are captured by modern day pirates who won't believe them when they insist the U.S. Navy is planning on using their island for target practice. The three spend half the episode tied up (Lois and Jimmy with hands behind, Clark with hands in front for some reason). Later the pirate outfit the three with a matching ensemble of red bandanna blindfolds and blue bandanna detective gags. Lois and Jimmy are bound back to back with Clark by himself. Lois manages to slip off her gag pretty quickly and remarks upon the fact; fortunately for the good guys her blindfold stays snug as Clark frees himself and as Superman flies to the rescue. |

Record number: 5724 Title: Strangeland (1998) aka Dee Snider's Strangeland Medium: Movie Actress: Linda Cardellini, Amal Rhoe, Barbara Champion Description: Genevieve Gage (Cardellini) is kidnapped by a schizophrenic sadist and has her mouth sewn shut. Some good mmpphing. (around the 8-minute mark) Amal Rhoe seen wrapped in blanket in car trunk,lips sewn shut (dead..you might not want this one!) (around 16-minute mark) Linda Cardellini seen again, around the 31-minute mark, naked in a hanging cage, lips sewn shut, wrists cuffed outside cage, watching a trussed up guy get his penis pierced (ouch!!). Her scenes & his flip back & forth, so personally I wouldn't bother to try to edit the guy out, you'll mess the scene up. Linda again at the 40:20 mark, still in the cage, being rescued by her dad, still naked, cuffed, & gagged. In the room are a couple other women, one seen standing, tied to an X-frame, naked, lips sewn shut, and one standing, tied to a pole, with a bondage mask on her head. Some guys are there as well. Lots of nice, close-up shots of Linda. At the 1:05:00 mark, Barbara Champion is seen standing, nude, arms tied behind, lips sewn shut, in a cage-like device that hangs over her. At the 1:09:00 mark, Linda, kidnapped again by the sicko, is seen, lips sewn shut again, in a computer monitor. At around the 1:13:00 mark, Barbara is seen again, still tied, but bloody mouth where she forced her mouth open (yuck). A few seconds later, we see Linda, standing, naked, lips sewn shut still, lots of little wires hooked into her. All these scenes involve some torture...hooks, etc. but with the exception of the girl in the car trunk no one dies. |

Max and the Chief are in the kitchen while this is going on so they quickly come to her rescue. |

Record number: 17781 Title: Castle Medium: TV Series Actress: Stana Katic Description: Episode: "In the Belly of the Beast" (6.17) A darker episode than is the norm for this series sees Detective Kate Beckett (Stana) going undercover disguised as an assassin. Things go wrong almost immediately when she is separated from her backup team and kidnapped out of an elevator. At 7mins (without commercials) she is apprehended at gunpoint and put into the back of a van with her hands bound behind her back with a black ziptie. Left alone, she tries to give her team updates on her location through her hidden microphone, but doesn’t know that the transmitter isn’t working. Arriving at their destination, she is forced to stand with her hands still tied as she is scanned for a bug, but she had fortunately discarded it when the van stopped. After the scan comes up clean, a hood is pulled over her head to end this sequence at 10mins. Having passed the preliminaries, Kate goes through the motions of doing what the gang wants, but in the episode's final 15mins her cover is blown. At 32mins she is interrogated by having her hands ziptied behind her back again, while her head is dunked repeatedly in a tub of water. The lengthy interrogation concludes at 35mins with her gasping for breath, soaking wet, but still refusing to talk. Giving up, her captor orders the henchman to find a patch of dirt and bury her. Immediately she is marched into the woods, hands still behind her back, ankles hobbled together with short length of rope, another rope tied as a leash around her waist held by the hood, and she is cleave gagged with a black cloth. Her sadistic captor pushes her down a hill, and ungags her (leaving the cloth around her neck) for one last taunt before he intends to shoot her. At the last second she is saved by the assassin that she had been impersonating, with the scene concluding at 37mins. On the DVD there is an alternate edit of interrogation scene. |
