There are several scenes with her all trussed up and she struggles to break free after a fire breaks out. Bonus for faux gag and mask fans: She is administered oxygen through a clear plastic mask over her nose and mouth following her rescue. In another scene, a good-looking blonde has her wrists bound behind her back, but she's not gagged. |

Record number: 18610 Title: Murdoch Mysteries aka The Artful Detective Medium: TV Series Actress: Miranda Millar Description: Episode: "Murdoch Ahoy" (7.1) While on a cruise, Amy (Millar), a criminal's daughter goes missing. Murdoch and ship's company search all over for the girl, all the while dealing with extortionists who have planted bombs on the ship. After one of the bombs goes off, the girl is seen struggling inside a suitcase in a flooded compartment at 30mins. Her hands are tied behind her back with hemp rope and she is cleave gagged with a striped white handkerchief. Nice mmpphhing when she wakes up; presumably she was knocked out offscreen, as her capture was not shown. To attract her rescuers' attention, she uses her bound hands to bang on some pipes. We see quick sequences of her at 31mins, 33-34mins and finally at 35mins when she is discovered and rescued just as the rising water reaches her face. No onscreen ungagging, however: she has already worked the gag off when the suitcase is opened. |
