They suddenly hear mmpphhing from outside, which turns out to be Katrina (Winter). She is standing in between two wooden beams, chained to them upper spreadeagle, feet unbound, and cleave gagged with a thin strip of dark green cloth. There is also a large circle in which she stands, surrounded by a ring of fire, and all the while she is being menaced by the Headless Horseman himself. Cue more mmpphhing as a swordfight breaks out between him and Ichabod, which is quickly won by the latter. Abbie then sets Katrina free, but somewhat offscreen. All three heroes (Katrina, Abbie and Ichabod) later get a scene at the end of the episode, at 36-42mins, in which they are tightly bound by CGI vines. |
