Record number: 600 Title: Anaconda (1997) Medium: Movie Actress: Jennifer Lopez Description: Jennifer is captured by villian Jon Voight, has her hands tied behind her back, and is sitting tied back to back with Ice Cube. All restraints are shed anaconda skins. Pigs blood is poured onto them, to make them more attractive as the the main course in the giant anaconda's dinner.(Said monster looks suspiciously like a big rubber hose, ed.) Fairly lenghty scene, including some fierce struggling. The skin is wrapped around them just below JLo's breasts. That, combined with her tight shirt, makes the struggling look interesting. No gag. They manage to free themselves eventually, and make tyres of the monster (hose). Action between the .82 and .90 minutes marks. |

Record number: 12059 Title: See No Evil (2006) Medium: Movie Actress: Zoe Ventoura, Samantha Noble Description: Around the 5:30 mark. Zoe is strapped to a gurney by hospital medics & put into an ambulance. Her eyes are bandaged, as they had been gouged out earlier (before movie began, presumably). At the 38:00 mark. A blink-&-you-miss-it flashback scene of Zoe (see above) in the hospital ward, secured to hospital bed probably for her own protection with leather straps over her body, rather than the usual hospital cuffs. She's not in any peril and her eyes are still bandaged. Starting at the 40:45 mark there are 3 scenes of Samantha. The psycho is spying on his prey through a tw-way mirror, and Samantha stands behind him against the wall, wrists tied over her head and gagged with a cloth over her mouth. When the psycho decides to change locations, he lifts her off of the hook and throws her over his shoulder. The squirming stops when he bangs her head on the door frame as he goes through. During this final scene with Samantha, there is black & white flashback shot to when Zoe (see above) was a prisoner of the psycho. The shot is from the top of her head view (camera is behind her as she's tied to bed, level with her). Can see her tied feet in the distance though. And no close-ups. This scene is shown again later, though, in much more & better detail. At the 43:00 mark & again at the 1:02:00 mark. At the 1:09:51 mark there is a better flashback of when Zoe was first a prisoner of the psycho. It's the same as that very quick flashback mentioned earlier but with much more detail. Still black & white, we see several nice close-ups of Zoe tightly cleave gagged, tied to the bed. A couple of good shots of her crossed and tied bare feet, which are tethered to the end of the bed also. Unfortunately, she also gets her eye gouged out at the end (remember, she is the girl seen at the VERY beginning with her eyes gouged out on the gurney. |

Record number: 648 Title: That Darn Cat (1997) Medium: Movie Actress: Rebecca Koon, Christina Ricci Description: At the start of this Disney comedy, at 3mins in, a matronly woman (Koon) is abducted by being handgagged and dragged out of her apartment, with some surprised mmpphhing. We do not see her again until 18mins, whereby she is shown sitting in a chair with her hands bound in front with two white zipties (each interlocked to form 'handcuffs') and a number of turns of very thick white rope around her torso. The titular cat discovers her in what looks to be an abandoned apartment, and Koon fastens her wristwatch as a collar on the cat to summon help. She is seen again at 1hr 5mins, now gagged with a strip of duct tape and having been discovered by teenaged sleuth Ricci. However, both are soon rumbled by a pair of crooks. Finally, at 1hr 12mins, we see Koon bound and re-gagged as before, along with Ricci tied to a chair hands in front with brown rope and gagged a strip of duct tape (this being a comedy, the cat also gets a gag). Neither damsel does any emoting, as Ricci's detective buddy soon barges in and frees them both; he also ungags them both onscreen with a loud "rip" of the tape. |
