http://web.archive.org/web/20050904115341/http://www.gagproject.com/gallery/ScreenCaps/aex I recall asking about this a while back and never got an answer. This was on the now sadly defunct Gag Project site. What film or show episode is that from and who's the actress? The actress somewhat resembles Laura Dern, who actually had a little-known duct tape gag scene in the 1995 TV film, Down Came a Blackbird. Wonder if this is an extremely rare production image from that film. |

So I just want to say this is one of if not the best scene I've ever seen. I've seen previews of it since a decade ago but didn't muster up the desire to get the full thing until yesterday. She is completely chained up with chains around her arms, knees, hands, and legs, with the chains around her knees connected to her chest, and the ones on her hands to her feet. She also has handcuffs underneath the chains and she's inside a locked water tank. I expected her to be rescued but she actually manages to get out of this herself. This untrained everyday reporter manages to escape a magician death trap while heavily chained up without any tricks. It's missing a gag but the predicament more than makes up for it as I'm a huge fan of damsels escaping on their own. I haven't seen another instance of a regular lady being restrained with chains and shackles and escaping a death trap by herself with the sole exception of the beginning scene in Dragonslayer and she was nowhere near as trussed up as Paula was here. |

A beautiful damsel bound and gagged with a realistic cleave gag! Her emoting while she is gagged is priceless! |
