The camera angles never showed her gagged, however. Would it have killed the shpw's producers to show just one view of her bound and gagged? |

| There's a feature article in the current issue of "Illustration" magazine on the career of Bruce Minney, who did many of the cover illustrations on the "Men's Sweat" magazines in the '50's, '60's, and early '70's. Those magazines often featured fiendish Nazis, Japanese, Koreans, or Viet Cong terrorizing or torturing beautiful, scantily-clad, and frequently bound women. There are five or six bondage illustrations of that sort in the article (and on the cover of the magazine) along with many other examples of his work. He doesn't really say much about the subject matter of those covers; apparently it was just another job to him. About the only comment is "People now look at them as camp, but I took them seriously and did the best I could." While the DiD content of the article isn't high, it is an interesting read as he talks about the life he led, often getting ripped off by unscrupulous clients. And it's a bit tragic to learn about all the original art he threw out or destroyed when moving, art which could be sold for hundreds or more likely thousands of dollars today. |

She's tied up in the trunk of a car with duct tape over stuffing. Some decent views of her; lasts a minute or so. Not my favorite gag, personally, but she is crazy hot, so it's not bad. Though she spends most of the movie in captivity, there's no other full treatment. She does get hand-gagged midway through while wearing a schoolgirl-type outfit, if I'm recalling correctly, though it's a rather rough scene. She maybe wears cuffs once or twice too? (It's been awhile.) Those of you who like the general "women in prison" theme might also like the overall vibe, because it has lots of ladies in captivity. |

| Okay, this is a weird one: Ford Motor Company's division in India did a campaign for the Ford Figo, and it contracted with some agency to do some strange ads for it. They consist of cartoon illustrations of various people bound and gagged in the car. There's a story about it (and the resulting controversy) on the Jalopnik website. Just go there to find out the full deal. Anyway, one of the images portrays the Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi with three bound and ball-gagged strippers in the car's rear. Another portrays Paris Hilton with the Kardashian sisters B&G (one ball gag, two tape gags, for whatever reason). [Fair warning: A third image on the site portrays putzes.] There's a nice, big image of the strippers image on the site, but it might be too large to post here. Hopefully the Kardashian one isn't too huge, but I guess we'll find out after I hit submit. (Apologies in advance to the Mod if I'm wrong.) Not sure whether there are other images of interest in the ad campaign. I'm not in a place where I can research it right now. |

It's on Jalopnik, but for some reason, it's not one of the "recommended posts" that come up if you go straight to the main page. Weird. I don't want to include the direct link (I never want to weird out mainstream sites when the analytics come back showing a flurry of visitors from Brian's Page -- it might make them skittish about posts that interest us), but if you go to Gawker.com and scroll down the right side, the link is there.
