Bates Motel
Anything on yesterday's episode?

The Following
In the most recent episode, Annie Parisse was knocked out before seeing briefly tied to a chair with some rope around her torso, and later is held hostage (she survives, fortunately). Unfortunately she isn't gagged, a real letdown. Hopefully she'll be in peril again on the show soon and given the proper B&G treatment.

That reminds me of a different movie I saw long ago on tv - had a scene where one or two people were in the front seat of a car and then the gagged face of a woman (t)he(y) had kidnapped rose up from the back seat. I think it was a Spanish or Mexican movie and had Boris Karloff in it, in what must have been one of his last movies - he looked very old. Can anyone give me the name? Thanks.

Record number: 184

Title: El Coleccionista de cadáveres (1970) aka Cauldron of Blood aka Blind Man's Bluff
Medium: Movie
Actress: Rosenda Monteros

Description: Kidnapped at a bar (a baddie clamps a huge hand over her mouth) and ends up wrists bound behind her back, ankles tied and detective gagged with a white cloth. Wrists and ankles tied together with rope, gagged with cloth tied over her mouth. She's carried out and placed in the backseat of a convertible. She sits up in the back seat mmmphing.

She wakes up with her wrists and ankles tied to one another on a basement altar. She has been kidnaped by the evil Tania who uses people to make skeleton armatures for the real-to-life sculptures of her blind husband (Boris Karloff). Valerie (Rosenda Monteros) manages to get free from her nylon ropes. There are several close up shots of her tied wrists. Before she can remove her gag Tania comes in and a cat-fight ensues. Unique to the movie is that Valerie fights Tania with her gag in place at all times. Tania manages to inject her with a sedative, puts her back in the altar and reties her wrists in front. The boyfriend comes to her rescue and Tania dies when she falls in the cauldron of caustic acid used to get her skeletons while fighting her husband who has realized the horrendous crimes his wife committed.

El Rostra De La Venganza
Wow! No love for last night's episode?

I know there was a putz and all, but Paloma Marquez made a great damsel. Tight cleave, mmpphing, I hoping this continues until the 12th. It should continue into tonight's episode for sure (10pm EST Telemuendo).

I think that scene concludes in tonight's episode, but Marlene Favela then kidnaps Cynthia Olavarria's character. She at least gets tied up; don't know if she gets gagged yet but I imagine she will be.

Yeah, I was wondering about that about Cynthia Olavarria in the promo for tonight. I didn't want to get my hopes up (last week's Scandal episode lol).

...and with that, I now bring you the title "Kung Phooey!".

It's a mildly amusing martial arts spoof from 2004.

Beautiful (and game) actress Karena Davis, gets kidnapped towards the end. She finds herself tied under very thick ropes to a chair. Her hands are behind and implied bound. She is also loosely cleave gagged. When the villianess who nabbed her enters the room, she wriggles around to break free and Mmmpphhh's to her heart's content until she is ungagged. She mouths off and is regagged, but in "Naked Gun" tone, she arranges her jaw so that it won't stay on when applied a few times. But, fear not, we get a quick scene where it is back in. But, then it mysteriously hangs around her neck as she tries to recover a peach pit (don't ask), before altogether vanishing completely and then reappearing before the villianess unties her from the chair and arms over her head. Her ankles are never tied and she is wearing a purple top with a cute cardigan.

Personally, I love these scenes where the gag dangles around the actress's neck (Moscow Zero)like an accessory and Kareena is one feisty hostage. Recommended!
