When you throw in the dark setting, with Missy's dark hair, looked very much like Angie. |

| A long time ago I was browsing through Kalton C Lahue's book, "Bound And Gagged", a book loaded with silent era bondage imagery. One of the pictures showed serial queen Allene Ray, her legs being bound with bandages for the serial, "The Fortieth Door". I guess it's unlikely to have survived, but it may well have been the earliest mummification scene ever filmed. Pity no one might ever get to see if Ms Ray got the full body wrap, as the vast majority of these old, blood and thunder serials are long gone, due to the age and type of film stock they used. This is a great shame as, in those days, villains were a real rope happy bunch, never afraid to really wrap 'em up, if the pictures in that book are anything to go on. Sorry I don't have the book but, does anyone else have it? |

| I would like to apologize ahead of time if magazine covers are considered an off topic discussion. I wanted to know how many mainstream magazines have depicted DID material either on the cover or inside the main pages. There was one specific magazine cover I saw about 5 or 6 years ago that I have had no luck finding since. I believe it was Time Magazine or one of the other big companies. It was a cover that had an unknown woman and multiple putzes gagged with silver duct tape but not bound in any way if I remember correctly. I think they were all wearing corporate business attire. Does this ring a bell to anyone? |

Only reason I guess her feet were not taped was because in the script, she kicked her partner when the van door opened. But how hard would it have been to tape her feet and have her get them free. Makes little sense the bad guy would allow a cop (even one like Missy) to have her feet free when he could have easily taped them up. |

There was an Entertainment Weekly cover that had digitally maniped images of famous stars tape-gagged. In fact the whole "Taped mouth to represent censorship" thing is fairly common. There was also the V cover not too long ago that had Naomi Campbell tied up and gagged. |

Well it allowed her to show that she was still a tough babe and not really helpless, blah blah blah. It obviously made no sense that the guy would not tape her ankles particularly when he so thoroughly gagged her. But y'know, I personally am willing to accept that trade-off if I get to see a knockout, body search, and then a tape-up as good as this one otherwise was. |

| Her feet not being tied didn't bother me, I'm willing to let that go if the gag is secure as are her hand/arm bonds, in this case both were well-secured and tight. It'd be nice if next time she's gagged she gets an onscreen gagging, too. She's been KO'ed during both of her RB scenes and KOs are cool but I always enjoy seeing a damsel gagged onscreen. If she could get something soon like the scene in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicle (where the damsel pleaded not to be gagged but got it anyway) that'd be sweet. |
