Saturday June 22 14:53:28 2013 The Bridge on FX |
I noticed a new promo for the US version of *The Bridge* that starts on FX July 10th. It features an unfortunate blond spreadeagled in the desert. I have no idea if it's Diane Kruger or a guest star (meaning victim). A quick Google search turned up a BIG photo. The URL is below. Or, cut and paste. http://i2.ytimg.com/vi/5XYhZQR4XME/maxresdefault.jpg One thing's for sure... whoever did that to her is not a nice man. |

Saturday June 22 16:26:04 2013 Gagged or Regagged by the Hero |
Can you recommend some scenes where the damsel is bound and gagged by the hero for a good cause, but against her will, such as Keri Russell in "Honey, I Blew Up the Kid"? I'm NOT looking for scenes where the woman is a vilainess, or the damsel lets the hero bind her (such as Erika Christensen in "How to Rob a Bank"). Also, can you recommend scenes where the damsel is B&G by the villains, but ungagged and then temporarily regagged by the hero to keep her quiet until the situation is clear, such as Karen Allen in "Raiders of the Lost Ark"? |

Jennifer Beals has a lengthy scene in Four Rooms where she is re-gagged several times by the "hero", albeit willingly. In it, Tim Roth is a hotel porter who stumbles into a domestic duspute between Beals and her husband (David Proval). She's already bound and gagged at that point (the white rope binding her as holds a black cloth gag in place), and when Proval keeps leaving the room she motions to Roth to ungag her. Because the scene is kind of a whacky comedy, Proval keeps coming in and out, and so when he's coming back, Beals actually says "Quick, put the gag back in my mouth!", and Roth quicky shoves it back in. Classic scene, really lengthy, great sassy damsel...it's a keeper! |

Not only is Robert Redford the good guy, but realistically, if his hostage reported his location, the "Cleanup crew" would arrange for an accident to befall her in order to continue to cover links to their existence. |
