She regularly wore leotards and hot shorts on the show, and was NEVER bound and gagged? Had I been an executive at the network that aired this program, I would've FIRED its writers, and even blacklisted them for good measure! What a waste! An incredibly beautiful actress plays an aspiring dancer and bartender, a role that requires her to wear leotards and hot shorts; her character is regularly kidnapped, yet she is NOT ONCE bound and gagged?
I'm exultant that Lori Loughlin, an incredibly beautiful actress, was FINALLY bound and gagged!

She played the Black Canary, but was never bound and gagged, as the comic book character was. To the best of my recollection, her character once had her sonic scream nullified by some silly contrivance mounted on a collar around her neck. How ironic that she played the comic book character who has most likely been bound and gagged more than any other in the history of comic books, but evaded being bound and gagged.

The DB says she was tied to a post with lots of rope and her legs were tied too. I'm not a gag snob so that
would be acceptable in my book. I'll have to see
if I can track it down on DVD.

It was just that 3 second shot of her. Next segment she has emerged from the closet free. Repeats tonight on SoapNet.

Going to try to keep this on topic:

You actually got your wish, as Edge of Night did not last a whole lot longer. I don't know if the writers got blacklisted, but they did eventually lose their jobs.

Ever see Edge of Night, Hadj? It operated in sort of its own universe. I think it was more Gothic than soap -- the type of show where I'm sure Lori Loughlin and all sorts of other DiDs ended up in dark rooms far away from civilization. I think I did catch one full-treatment scene on that show, but it deteriorated into two guys fighting with fencing foils. You can connect the imagery dots from there.

And the image that popped in my head was Richard Harris as King Arthur singing "How to Handle a Woman" in "Camelot" (1967), released in the same year as "Caprice".

If I posted it in the video forum, how am I to assure that the person I was writing to would see it? Wouldn't they be more inclined to look for a response regarding their posting here in actual reply to it where it was posted, not on a separate page? I'm not trying to be rude either. I'm asking what I feel is a legitimate question.

I don't give a good goddamn. Requests are off-topic on
this page. PERIOD.

The reason for it was that people were complaining that
every time they mentioned a scene, some yutz would start
pestering them for clips.

So follow the instructions. Or else.

Never the writers fault, usually the director's or producer's; they ultimately decide how a scene will be shot or edited, even if it means including a bondage scene that may or may not be in the script. So the producer should be fired since he/she is ultimately responsible.

Upstream Color?
I read a review that mentioned "a brutal kidnapping"; anyone see or otherwise know if there is an actual scene of interest in this film?
